Hi Mar, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Being a creator has always been my dream ever since I was young I remember doing YouTube videos, in my bathroom and making music videos, recording them and posting on YouTube at the age of nine. I knew I always wanted to be a creator and as I got older, it became more apparent to me. It was one My biggest dreams. I started Content on TikTok and that blew up, I guess people Really like apartment ratings nowadays and as of now I have reached 80k on that platform, As far as my Instagram, I strive to be My authentic self when posting In honor of my mom And when I create I validate to make sure it’s in accordance to my beliefs, Values and morals. I’ve also just started my music career Which has been challenging, but fun creating music can be difficult in today’s society. I look forward to staying motivated and creating more on all platforms and raising the bar for myself.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a yellow brick road, But it definitely has been a journey that I can say I’m proud of. I’ve faced discrimination, trolls, and jealously from starters and loved ones. One thing about me is I drive off of passion and challenge, If I’m told I can’t do something I want to do it more, If I’m told I won’t be something I want to be it even more. This journey that I’m currently in is all about realizing The benefits of individuality And authenticity, by Focusing on self. As my saying goes “ Once you start pouring into yourself, the world and its favors pour into you”.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
So currently, I’m in a midst of a couple of projects. On TikTok, I have been rating apartments for around 2 1/2 years and it has been only growing and growing, It has grown so much that I will be moving to YouTube here shortly to actually start gaining more of a Long-term audience by hosting my own podcast and show around Apartments. I’m soooo excited!!! I’ve been working on my Instagram and branding for my music career Which has been very exciting and challenging. I Will be releasing my upcoming debut album by the new year. I want this to be visually and soundly appealing So I’m taking my time to construe to make sure it’s as detailed into my taste as possible. It’s caught up what other people want from you instead of what you want from yourself. I’m also working on my own fashion line brand, And can’t wait to do a release Once all my pieces are completed. Fashion has been a major part of the person that I am and who Ive become, It has not taught me Style but also confidence. I’m Most proud of all of these, I can’t choose because I feel like all of these are my babies that I’m raising for success. I like to consider myself to be very stringent upon my views For what I want in my future. I Know a lot of people say “live in the present”, But honestly, I can’t, because i know my Future is bright. Taking care of myself, my mental health, and “sticking with the plan not the mood” Has been keeping me consistent and is what I feel most sets me apart from the next person.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Take the risk period. You never know what may happen what great Reward may come from you taking the risk. Usually when people are trying to determine if they want to take the risk or not, they usually want to. But fear is what holds them back. Around a year ago, I decided to pick up a partnership for a brand that was launching a mobile gaming app, I don’t know how this would affect my platform, But I took the risk anyway. I was not only able to gain more followers, With some of the top marketing professionals in the world. Adding this to my résumé and my background experience has me to be a top candidate in a lot of selections.
