Hi Lisa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I guess it started during Covid. I thought buying a few plants would be a great way to pass the time since I was working from home. Well a few plants turned in 153 plants in no time.
I then decided wanted to move out of state for a job and it was truly heartbreaking to have to sell the majority of my collection. So I sold almost all of them and relocated to Grand Prairie Texas for a new start. Little by little I started by collection again and I thought to myself why don’t I start sharing my love of plants with others. So I started by business Leaf It To Lisa and my blog and website.
I began going to local farmers markets and community events and it’s been amazing.
What I love more than selling plants is helping people realize that they to can grow plants. Everyone has a green thumb they just need to know the right conditions.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Oh no it hasn’t. Between the move and financial issues it has been a struggle. Being a single woman it seems like everything is harder but that also makes me more determined to succeed.

Plant consultant and plant sales.
I think what sets me apart is the plant consultant especially at the time of sale making sure they know how to take of their plant when they take it to their new home

I follow a lot of instagram plant influencers. I absolutely love listening and seeing how they grow and setup their own plants
