Hi Erica , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my balloon and event company with a passion for creating memorable and unique celebrations. Initially, it began as a hobby, crafting decorations for friends and family. Word-of-mouth referrals quickly expanded, and I realized there was a growing demand for customized, creative event setups. Over time, I developed my skills in balloon artistry and event planning, eventually turning my passion into a full-fledged business. Through hard work, attention to detail, and a commitment to making every event special, I’ve grown the company into a thriving business known for unique and personalized experiences.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like any business, there have been challenges along the way. Managing the logistics of supplies, employees, talking to clients, and staying on top of emails, texts, DMs, and calls can be overwhelming at times. As a perfectionist, I always want everything to be just right, which adds its own layer of pressure. Finding a healthy work-life balance has been one of the biggest learning curves. But with every mistake, we’ve experienced growth, and those lessons have helped shape the business into what it is today.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At my company, we specialize in creating custom, high-end balloon installations and providing full-service event planning and design. We’re more than just a typical event company, we’re a concierge business, offering a highly personalized experience tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. Our goal is to provide a seamless, personalized experience that transforms spaces into unforgettable moments.

What truly keeps me going is my loyal and special clientele. They trust us to bring their visions to life, and I’m proud of the relationships we’ve built over the years. Knowing that I’m a part of creating some of their most cherished memories is incredibly fulfilling. We work closely with every client to ensure their event is unique, and our commitment to perfection is evident in every step of the process. These connections and the joy we help create are what make this work so meaningful, fueling my passion for what I do.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always curious and creative. I loved exploring different arts and crafts, which eventually sparked my passion for event planning and design. I was inspired by my mom, who hosted many parties and beautifully designed and decorated them. My personality was a mix of being outgoing and a bit of a perfectionist; I wanted everything to look and feel just right. I’ve always been drawn to parties and have loved decorating. Those early experiences shaped my love for bringing people together and creating memorable moments.
