Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Entwined Grounds started as a vision and dream to bring hope and community to our small town of Grandview, As a young adult, life events helped me see that my story mattered. Through those experiences, I wanted to share what I had been through and let others know that Their Story Mattered. It matters to God, me, my family, and our employees. We strive to provide customer service in a way that shows each customer they matter, their story matters, and we see them. We do this by building relationships with our customers and allowing others to experience and develop relationships within the walls of our coffee shop. We have achieved this only with God at the center of our vision and from there I have been able to achieve this coffee shop with the help of my family, friends, and our amazing employees. Each day is a new day to make someone smile, to brighten their day, and to be the reason they leave our shop a little better than they walked in.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not always been a smooth road, like any business, there are bumps and hurdles along the way. We started at the beginning of COVID in a food truck which led to many struggles along the way but from there, it was a decision of how to proceed into a building. The town of Grandview is small so knowing where the best location was, struggling with wanting to be in a downtown building but knowing we needed a drive-thru for the vision and service industry we are a part of. Being able to stay on trend with new items and knowing what items our customer base will enjoy can lead to struggles as well. Overall, this business has been a blessing and a huge part of our family’s life and we are so thankful for it.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We specialize in Craft beverages such as Coffee, Lotus Energy Drinks, Healthy Smoothies & Smoothies Bowls, and much more. We also strive to provide healthy food options which include avocado toast, deli sandwiches, salads, & Wraps.
We are known for our quality products and great customer service. A few of our customer’s favorites are our homemade breakfast tacos, breakfast sandwiches on a butter croissant, wraps, and great coffee. Entwined Grounds takes pride in using Cuvee Coffee out of Austin which allows us to create coffee like no one around us. We use housemade syrups, carefully crafted recipes, and well-trained staff that know the ins and outs of making a great cup of coffee. The Jacob( Named after my Husband) is our most popular latte, which you can enjoy iced or hot, and is great with vanilla cold foam.
I am most proud of the community we have created, my family’s support, and the staff I get to work with every day. They love my kids and my family as their own and they truly care about our customers, which makes my vision for this shop a reality. Without them and their daily effort to be a light at work, I would not be able to accomplish what I have.
I believe our customer service is what sets us apart. We are more than what we sell, we are family!
Who else deserves credit in your story?
The first one is God. Without him, none of this would be possible.
I also want to thank my husband, kids, parents, and siblings! Without my entire family’s support and help, this business would not be possible. They keep me grounded and help me in ways no one sees.
They show support by filling in when I need a break, emotional support( because we all know running a business is not for the faint of heart), financial advice, praying over the business and for the business before it even started, and so much more.
It would take a lifetime for me to give them the proper appreciation for how much they have helped shape my vision and make it come to life for myself and this community. I am so thankful for each member of my family and the continued support they show me daily. They play a massive role in the success of the Coffee Shop.
