Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Ever since I was a child, I’ve always been fascinated with beauty. I remember playing with my mom’s makeup, experimenting with colors, and dreaming about one day being able to create my own looks. As I grew up, I knew deep down that I wanted to be a part of the beauty industry. However, my father didn’t believe it was a stable career, so I decided to follow a more traditional path and went to school, majoring in psychology.
After graduation, I explored many different careers, but nothing seemed to ignite my passion. Then, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I was laid off from my job. It was a turning point for me. I decided to take a break and go on vacation, and while I was away, I got my own brows, eyes, and lips done. I immediately fell in love with the convenience of permanent makeup. It looked so natural and saved so much time in the mornings—I could just wake up, feel put together, and leave the house without spending hours in front of the mirror.
This experience rekindled my passion for beauty and led me to dive into the world of permanent makeup. It’s amazing how life can lead you back to where your heart truly belongs. Today, I’m proud to be a part of the beauty industry, helping others feel confident and beautiful every day.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The Road to Where I Am Today
The journey to building my business hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs, I faced several challenges when starting out. One of the biggest struggles was establishing myself in a competitive industry and attracting clients who were willing to trust a new artist. I had to invest heavily in marketing, building my portfolio, and creating content to showcase my skills.
To ensure I was delivering high-quality results with the best techniques, I also invested in numerous courses and training sessions. This was both a financial and time commitment, but I knew that providing top-notch service was the key to building a reputable business. Another challenge was managing the business side of things—handling bookings, maintaining supplies, and ensuring I provided a professional and high-quality service, all while trying to grow my brand.
Balancing it all felt overwhelming at times, but these experiences have helped me grow, adapt, and understand what it takes to run a successful business.

At La Jolie Beauty, I specialize in permanent makeup, including lip blushing, powder brows, eyeliner, and dark lips neutralization. I’m known for creating natural, long-lasting results that enhance my clients’ features and simplify their daily beauty routines. I focus on delivering personalized experiences tailored to each client’s unique style and preferences, ensuring they leave feeling confident and beautiful.
One of the things I’m most proud of is my commitment to continuous learning. I’ve invested in numerous advanced courses and training to perfect my techniques and stay updated on the latest trends. This dedication to mastering my craft sets me apart and enables me to offer the highest quality results. My clients trust me to provide them with safe, consistent, and beautiful outcomes every time.
What really distinguishes my work is my attention to detail and the time I take to educate my clients. I guide them through the process, from understanding what to expect during and after the procedure to offering support and advice during the healing period. This personalized approach helps me build strong relationships with my clients, and seeing their confidence boost after each session is truly rewarding.
I’m proud to have created a clean, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable and cared for. As I continue to grow, my goal is to expand and eventually open a one-stop beauty salon where clients can receive a variety of beauty services under one roof, all while maintaining the same level of quality and care that La Jolie Beauty is known for.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is playing with my mom’s makeup. I used to sneak into her vanity, fascinated by the colors and textures of the different products. I’d spend hours experimenting with her lipsticks, eyeshadows, and blushes, pretending to be a makeup artist. Even though I’d often make a mess, my mom never got upset. Instead, she’d smile and encourage my creativity.
It was during those moments that my love for beauty truly began. I didn’t realize it then, but those playful sessions sparked a passion that would eventually lead me to where I am today. Those early experiences inspired me to follow my heart and pursue a career in the beauty industry, no matter how winding the path may have been.
