Today we’d like to introduce you to Jadyn Freeman
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Jadyn Freeman and I am a self-taught artist. I was raised in a household that encouraged artistic expression. I have a diverse range of creative talents, including experience in creative makeup as a license makeup artist, which has further enriched my artistic perspective.
I have cultivated artistic skills through practice and exploration.
Since relocating to Texas this year, I have started my art career by participating in various art shows, like Pancake and Booze, Dallas Arts Pride and more. My work continues to evolve, driven by a desire to explore the complexities of the human experience.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The only challenge I’ve faced is relocating from New Jersey to Texas. Fortunately, I’ve met some incredibly welcoming Texans who have personally shown me around and introduced me to places I’ve come to truly appreciate. Moving from a familiar place to an unfamiliar one can be challenging, but when you open your heart and mind you begin to discover so much more.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My artwork is inspired by my personal experiences and dreams. While I primarily focus on acrylic painting, I would like to consider myself a multidisciplinary artist, eager to explore various forms of artistic expression as opportunities.
I’m still not sure for what I’m known for, but I would venture to say it is my eclectic masterpieces that are unique and unlike anything seen before.
How do you think about happiness?
What brings me happiness is waking up everyday. Knowing that I have a purpose even if some days feel tough. Life brings new ideas and memories that we sometimes forget to bring light to.
I feel happy to know I have strong sense of love from my family. I remind myself of their pride in me, which brings joy and success to my spirit.
