Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Sartain
Hi Michael, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
“DISD was a rough place to go to school in the 90’s. There was still the crack epidemic in the country and a lot of violence. My school had a dropout rate in the 70th percentile, and it was a crazy upbringing going to school there. I believe Woodrow Wilson was the first school to have metal detectors in the DISD. From there, I got accepted into UT Austin. I was a district debate champion, so I got letters from Harvard. However, when I went to go visit Texas, I immediately knew I wanted to go there. I was at UT Austin for five minutes, and the first day I was there I was like, I’m never leaving this place. After that, being a Longhorn, I graduated in 2000; there was an economic crash, and because of that, I ended up taking a job at a nightclub in Austin. I did that for a while, and then 9/11 happened and because of that, I joined the military. Once I finished my service, I visited Vegas in 2007 for a week and had the most fun of my life going out. I know I’m 47 years old, but I still love going to nightclubs. That Vegas trip was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, and it was the least amount of work I had to do for the most fun since my time studying at UT Austin.”
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
“Because I had been doing this occupation for free, basically as a hobby for 11 years, when we started the business, it was nothing but growth for about three and a half years. It wasn’t until this year that we had some difficulties with Meta ads. For instance, we had trouble with some of our advertisements because of the political campaigns. It made it harder to get good leads off of ads. Some of the first challenges with the business were this year. We’ve overcome it by increasing our organic reach by getting into affiliates and switching from Meta ads to Google ads.”
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Men of Action Mentoring?
Men of Action teaches men how to build an abundant lifestyle of high-status friends. Our members learn how to network with elites, attend exclusive events, become a “local celebrity”, and become the man that other men want to be.
In 2019, I created the Men Of Action program. The program was a culmination of all these lessons and many more.
The Men of Action program focuses on five pillars: Social Networking, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Mindset and Finance to make you a well rounded man with an abundant lifestyle.
I teach leadership, communication, networking, and dating strictly through the lens of evolution.
I use science to back up the knowledge I’ve gained over 25 years. Because of that, our results are ubiquitous—meaning all of our clients get results, as we base what we do on concepts from evolutionary psychology.
I did what I’m doing now for free for 11 years. Because of that, I was able to gain a following and expertise, so when I finally turned this into a business, it grew extremely fast. I already had hundreds of clients after the first month.
“Men of Action Mentoring is the most comprehensive male improvement course ever created, meaning the breadth and depth of subjects we cover is more than anything I’ve ever seen. It’s leadership studies that include dating. It’s the ECOM studies that include leadership. There are self-help areas that include lessons in communication. Nobody has ever put all of it together before.”
“The thing I’m most proud of is that we could do it instead of it being like, ‘trust me bro’, we’re having different speakers and including science.”
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
“The Cowboys winning the Super Bowl in ‘92.”
