Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Warshaw
Hi Adam, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
The owners of Halo Pizzeria have lived in the Miramonte community for several years and with all the growth in North Frisco, we rarely saw small businesses open. We were surrounded by the same businesses and very few of them were restaurants. One night we met and discussed the idea of opening a fun, neighborhood spot. A place where families could come eat and enjoy a safe space where children could run outside and play with friends. An opportunity to reach out to local schools and host events that would give us a chance to give back to our community. We decided to take a leap of faith and in 2023, we moved forward in opening a NY style pizzeria. We have won Best Pizza of Frisco for the 2023 and 2024 year. We have raised thousands of dollars that we have donated back to the schools in our area and we host monthly car shows that bring in some exciting cars!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I don’t believe any road in business is a smooth one and ours had it’s challenges. We tried to begin construction in 2021 and were met with multiple delays. It was during a time in construction that our development was low priority, so we waited a solid two years for construction to be completed. Owning a restaurant in general will always have obstacles. We’ve been fortunate to have a great staff, but you have the initial turn over, menu creation, ordering supplies and lots of upfront costs.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Halo Pizzeria is a new New York Style pizza concept bringing together the community over great food that also provides a family-friendly atmosphere. We are passionate about providing delicious, authentic pizza to the community. Our guiding principle is all about Food, Family, and Community. We strive to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere where friends and family can gather to enjoy good food and great company.
This new pizzeria concept was thought of by 4 local residents from diverse backgrounds whom all reside in the Miramonte neighborhood in Frisco TX. Their desire is to bring a family-friendly pizzeria concept to their underserved community. The local residents will now have a restaurant where they can walk, ride bikes or drive their golf carts to the pizzeria while enjoying freshly made NY-style pizza.
Our menu is built around unique recipes. We use only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients in our pizzas, our dough is made fresh daily. Our toppings are carefully selected to create a perfect balance of flavors and textures. In addition to our delicious pizza, we also offer a wide range of other menu items, including salads, appetizers, and desserts. We are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all our customers, and we are always happy to accommodate any request or dietary needs.
Our restaurant is also designed with families in mind. We have a beautiful greenspace with a fountain and patio, where families can enjoy their meals and spend quality time together. We believe that it’s important to provide a space where families can relax and enjoy each other’s company, and we are proud to be a part of the community we serve.
Because of this unwavering commitment to high-quality food, serving the local community, and providing a family-friendly atmosphere, we are proud of our back-to-back best pizza in Frisco awards!
How do you think about luck?
Adam, Julian, Ugo and Farzad believe that its important that we strive to make our own luck, which is why they built this pizzeria from the ground up vs going through a chain. All four have worked hard to provide the best life possible for their families. With a diverse set of backgrounds and jobs they have been able to cover off the difficult challenge of building a restaurant from scratch.
