Hi DJ Keelez , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey began with a passion for music and events, initially DJing small gatherings. As I honed my skills, I expanded into larger venues and events, becoming a sought-after DJ in Los Angeles. I launched DJ Keelez & Associates, focusing on creating personalized experiences for weddings and private parties. Over the years, my dedication to exceptional service and a diverse music library has helped me build a reputation for unforgettable events. I continue to inspire others, especially within the LGBTQ+ community, as I share my love for music.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Early on, I faced challenges like finding my unique style in a competitive industry and balancing my personal and professional life. Building a reputation took time, and I encountered obstacles in securing clients and navigating the complexities of the wedding and event industry. However, these struggles taught me resilience and the importance of staying true to my vision, ultimately shaping the success of DJ Keelez & Associates today.

What I like best about Dallas is its vibrant arts and music scene, which reflects the city’s rich cultural diversity. From live music venues to art galleries, there’s always something happening that fuels creativity and inspiration. I also appreciate the warm hospitality of the people here, making it a welcoming place for visitors and residents alike.
On the flip side, I find that traffic can be a challenge, particularly during rush hours, which can make getting around a bit frustrating, especially when you are on the way to an event!
