Hi EAINT NANDAR, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My diverse experiences have played a key role in inspiring me to start my own business. Working in healthcare administration taught me the importance of efficient coordination and meeting people’s needs, while my roles in market research and brand expansion gave me the skills to analyze markets and understand what resonates with people across different regions. Volunteering with refugees and immigrants helped me appreciate the power of inclusivity and the need to provide accessible, culturally appropriate products and services.
These experiences made me realize that I wanted to build something of my own, something that reflects my values. My business focuses on modest clothing for Muslim women, which allows me to blend my passion for inclusivity with global insight. I saw an opportunity to create a brand that not only caters to a specific market but also embraces the cultural diversity that I’ve been so deeply connected to throughout my career.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but I think that’s part of what makes the journey meaningful. I’m still very early into this beautiful venture, and while I’ve faced challenges, like navigating the logistics of starting a business and ensuring my brand reflects the diverse needs of my audience, those hurdles have only strengthened my determination. I’m constantly learning, adapting, and growing, and I’m fully committed to sailing all the way. Every step, whether smooth or bumpy, is an opportunity to refine my vision and bring my goals to life.

Our concept is a modest wear brand specifically designed for Muslim women. The innovative aspect of our brand lies in our unique blend of faith compliance and contemporary fashion. We identified a gap in the market where existing offerings were either too traditional or too modern, failing to provide a balanced mix of modesty and current trends. AOACO addresses this issue by creating clothing that is both comfortable and stylish, without compromising on the religious beliefs of our target audience.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
It is okay if no one from your family or close friends supports what you decide to do. What matters is You believe in what you do. Any other support you get is an add-on. But embracing your own ups and downs is a must.
