Community Highlights: Meet Andrea Mayard of AndreaClaireFit

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Mayard

Hi Andrea, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Andrea Mayard, and I am proud to be the owner of AndreaClaireFit, located in Argyle, Texas. My journey is deeply rooted in an entrepreneurial family background, which has shaped my passion for business and personal training.

Long before I embraced the role of a small business owner, I cultivated a profound love for fitness and science. As a collegiate athlete and cheerleader at both Navarro and Texas Tech University, I discovered that the spirit of cheerleading translates seamlessly into the fitness realm. I am dedicated to championing my clients, motivating them to achieve their best selves, both in appearance and in confidence.

With over 22 years of experience in the industry, I have refined my approach to success—not just for myself as an entrepreneur but for the thousands of women I have supported along the way. My commitment to education and practical application has been the cornerstone of my professional journey.

AndreaClaireFit represents my most cherished venture. It is my second brick-and-mortar establishment and the first business I have built entirely on my own, without external financial assistance or guidance. This endeavor is fueled by my vision for what our local community deserves in a personal training studio: a space that embodies empowerment, privacy, accountability, and cleanliness. Here, clients can feel safe to be vulnerable, allowing genuine transformation to unfold.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being a small business owner comes with many challenges. Time management is a big one as juggling marketing, client management, and administrative tasks can be overwhelming at times. Skill Gaps have been another obstacle to overcome. The creative side of business comes easy to me however other areas of expertise like a solid marketing plan or accounting are not my strong suits. Finding the right people who can see your vision and work with you to make that vision come to life is a game changer for a small business owner. Isolation would be another obstacle Ive struggled with. Running a business alone can sometimes feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders, especially as a single mom. Networking with other like minded businesses and creating local referral groups has helped to close that gap of isolation and feel more connected.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
