Hi Torchà, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Torcha Berryhill, I am a proud mom of three boys. My journey in tax preparation began 11 years ago at Jackson Hewitt, and today I own Trusted Financial Services and TFS Software.
I’m passionate about helping people through accurate tax preparation and empowering others in the tax industry. Whether it’s teaching new skills or enhancing existing ones, I believe in transforming financial situations and creating brighter futures.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been the smoothest road, it’s been TONS of bumps, stepping stones, and lessons learned to get to where I am today. Most of the struggles have come from selling myself short, self doubt, and not sticking to the processes and procedures I’ve created for myself and my business.

Trusted Financial Services is a three part company I have built. I offer tax preparation, planning, notary, and bookkeeping, We also offer an academy for aspiring tax professionals and software to other tax companies. What sets us apart from other companies is that we’ve been in every step of becoming a tax preparer and branching off into your own company. I pride myself on empathizing with the highs and lows of the tax industry and making sure whomever is connected to me is confident and secure with what we offer. Rather that be preparing their personal and business taxes or helping navigate through their tax career.
