Meet Phazione McClurge of Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Phazione McClurge.

Phazione McClurge

Hi Phazione, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
UNPHAZED is a moti-tainment (motivation-entertainment) podcast with Phazione McClurge & Lionell McConnell. Two professional athletes talk about their experience on the field, building a life outside of sports, current events, pop culture, and financial literacy. The goal is to help inspire all people to elevate their lives, as they strive to spark positivity and motivation for everyone who watches and listens.

So we wanted to turn talks that we were already having were there was no camera and bring and share those conversations to the world especially the DFW Area. We both are very ambitious and driven on and off the field and want to give people and insight to our journeys in football and in business. So they can grow and learn with us to as we build and expand our current companies and interview high performing individuals both athletes, real estate moguls, and motivational speakers.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No no not at all haha. Everything but smooth actually at the end of the day this is more of a business then most people think. It’s because they only see the end result on the screen or through their headphones or speakers. Making sure we are putting the best product that we can out there requires quality equipment, decent location, lighting and all types of things. But honestly the biggest obstacle in almost every business I can think of is the people in some way or another. There have been time after time were this buisness was going to fall apart because schedule coordination, money issues, editing videos, and much more so finding the right team that is there for the long term vision and there for the right reasons with no ego is very important in creating a successful business. But each time we hit an obstacle my passion for getting this information, this motivation, and this entertainment put to the people was always stronger. We work so hard to get the business running tirelessly but when you sit down in front of those cameras and are able to have fun, crack jokes, talk sports, talk motivation, hear different perspectives and stories and truly learn things like how to grow your business, real estate, how to be a pro athlete, how to invest and grow your money. All the work becomes way more than worth it. We continue to STAY UNPHAZED!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I run an entertainment company. Starting in early 2024 but have had the vision for years. The Unphazed Podcast is the first show and has been getting amazing feedback. Myself and LJ are known for being pro football players for the Frisco Fighters the best team in the IFL. Also were we met and birthed the idea of starting a show together. I’m most proud of the constant and continued growth that our show has had and the positive affect we have had on the guests that we have had on and the audience. What sets us apart is our personalities we are not going to change for anyone we are always going to do what we feel is best for the show and we are not trying to be anyone else or like any other podcast. We are stilling finding our niche but we are forcing our own path and in less than a year we will be world renowned! God willing!

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
I would say just do it! If you look at the first episode we dropped terrible lighting shorts were not good the editing wasn’t there. But we just did and when you dive into anything as you actually do it and take action you learn and you figure out how to make the next one better and you get new ideas. But you will never get those ideas if you don’t take action. Because even when I started I delayed because I wanted it to be perfect but what we have to realize that in anything there are levels and you can’t even see what’s on level 2 until you start and go through and complete level one. So just take action and the world will be some your library trust and believe in yourself and your idea and you will get better!
