Hi LaByron, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I got started in the Entertainment and Media Industry as a freelance public relations video producer. Over the years I joined industry organizations such as Veterans in Media and Entertainment (VME) and Dallas Producers Association (DPA), for which I improved my skill set with workshops, mentoring and corporate media related internships. My vast gained experiences in Los Angeles and Dallas provided a soiled and structural industry foundation to further my career and led me to pursue an endeavor with Dallas Global Network TV Channel (DGN TV) .
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been many challenges over the years. Navigating through industry obstacles for example, getting independent films financed and distributed., to working around industry ups and downs, such as lack of funding for projects and industry strikes.
We’ve been impressed with Dallas Global Network LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Dallas Global Network TV Channel (DGN TV) focuses on the Entertainment & Media Industry of Dallas,Texas and surrounding city markets. TV/Film productions such as Entertainment News, Fine Arts, Independent Feature Films, Documentaries, and Community Events.
I am Producer/TV Host/Director of Programming for the channel. In the industry I’m known for TV Hosting and Public Relations Interviews. In industry my strong suites are production and media operations. I’m able to get much done behind and in-front of the camera on various types of productions.
The great thing branding wise with Dallas Global Network, is I’m able to showcase all the wondering things about Dallas for the world to see.
Dallas Global Network is not just a TV Channel, we also have an in-house production company (DGN Productions LLC), that provides services such as, TV Show Productions Development, Television Commercials, Red Carpet Services, Public Relations Videos, and Community Event Highlights).
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
With the growth of Texas in the Entertainment and Media industry, the city of Dallas is one of the major cities in the state that has the infrastructure to be of service to both major studios and independent tv/filmmakers. Dallas Global Network is currently online streaming and being added to other media platforms.
