Hi Priyatham, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Even if I read my story again, I wouldn’t think I wouldn’t have expected myself to be where I am today. It all started with the small drone that I got for Christmas. I was really into flying it around, capturing some stunning views, editing them into a video, and sharing it with my friends and family. I had gone to many places around the USA to capture these drone shots and eventually made it a passion of mine. Getting into video editing brought forth my interest in videography in general. I soon bought a small camera within my budget and started capturing videos of vlogs and small events in my mutual circle. I can proudly say it was my friends and family who brought out my interest and talent in me and encouraged me always. Through this, I acquired several more opportunities from my mutual friends. Eventually, I got enough content to open up my own YouTube channel and website to showcase my work to the general public, which circulated exponentially. After peak COVID, I can say is when our business hit the top. We started receiving more requests and started doing many types of events ranging from birthdays to weddings, music videos, and many more! Our highest event is for housewarmings which we have a total of 350+ and we have a total of 600 events we have done to date all over the USA.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Looking back, I think I was fortunate to jump into the market at the right time making it a smooth road initially. Before 2019, videography was not as big within the Dallas Desi community, but after 2019 when the real estate market boomed, everyone wanted to get their housewarmings done, which is what we initially specialized in. After that, we got requests for other events and now do almost 10 unique events. There were some struggles along the way when there was a rise of more photographers in the market and more options became available to clients for a lower price. At this time, I took a step back and evaluated the business I had to understand what we were providing and tried to add more unique options for clients to accommodate their budget. Each of our clients is unique and challenges us to bring something forward to them each day, and we thrive on that enthusiasm to give new content and present it in a never-before-seen way.
We’ve been impressed with Fly High Videography , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Fly High Videography is a photography + videography service company that is based all across the USA and provides various services to its clients. We offer photography and videography for any event of your choice and provide the most deliverables with the highest quality that is available.
I would want people to think of Fly High as a brand of commitment to success and quality and want people to understand the 100% effort we put into making our client’s memories cherishable. What sets us apart is the experience we have in specific areas such as Indian events and outdoor photography.

How do you define success?
Success is not something that can be defined, but more that each person has to define it int heir own terms. For some success is a target, but for me, it is a continuous journey that will never end. It is important to set small milestones and once you reach them to celebrate your success, but immediately after that you need to set a bigger goal and chase to be successful in that. In my perspective, photography and videography continue to grow each day. Apart from my ideals, for Fly High, we feel successful if we give our clients the best output we promised them and see them have a smile on their faces cherishing their memories forever.
