Today we’d like to introduce you to Rogers Healy
Hi Rogers, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
For over 25 years, I’ve been investing, building businesses, and connecting people. My entrepreneurial journey spans everything from real estate to music memorabilia, but it truly began in 2012 with my first major investment in Mizzen + Main. That was the turning point. I realized I could use my strength in building relationships to help passionate entrepreneurs find the opportunities they needed, and from there, Morrison Seger Venture Capital Partners was born.
Above all, my life is rooted in faith and family. I love music, and it’s a huge part of my life, whether I’m spending time with my wife Abby and our daughters Henley and Collins (who are named after two of my musical heroes, Don Henley and Phil Collins), or relaxing at ‘Hotel California,’ my personal music oasis filled with one of the largest collections of music memorabilia in the world. Music fuels my passion, just like faith and family keep me grounded.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Challenges? We all face them. It’s never been about avoiding them but knowing how to adapt and move forward. Whether balancing family, business, or personal hurdles, the goal remains: find your rhythm and keep going. The key is learning from setbacks and growing through them. The biggest lesson? Don’t let obstacles derail you—embrace them, learn from them, and keep pushing forward.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
At Morrison Seger, we don’t just invest—we build. We’ve backed over 100 startups across industries like consumer goods and SaaS. We’re on a mission to redefine the experience in the world of finance by working with the best brands and people in the world.
What excites me most is working with founders who are committed to their journey. They take bold risks and stay true to their mission. That’s what it’s all about—betting on people who are willing to bet on themselves.
How do you think about luck?
I once heard the saying, “Luck happens when preparation meets opportunity,” which has stuck with me. Luck may open the door, but your hustle, grit, and determination turn it into something meaningful. Being ready when the opportunity arises is what truly makes the difference.
