Hi Nikki, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Honestly, the thought of becoming an entrepreneur never crossed my mind. I was content with discovering my passion and following it in a regular 9-5 job. Confidence at any Size originated from a bad breakup. During the relationship, I faced emotional abuse, particularly regarding my body size. A few months after the breakup, I looked at myself in the mirror and realized my beauty, contrary to what I was made to believe. This realization led me to post a selfie on Instagram with the caption “I was feeling myself before work this morning, had to get a bathroom selfie…#confidenceatanysize.” This marked the beginning, and with more posts under the same hashtag, I launched a new Instagram page and officially started the business.
Since then, the business has expanded far beyond its physical representation and has evolved to symbolize various aspects such as financial stature, educational influence, and more. It’s crucial to have confidence in your current identity as it will drive you towards your desired destination.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not! This journey has been anything but smooth, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Stepping out of the classroom, especially after having my baby in 2023, was a big leap of faith. It was a bittersweet decision, leaving behind something I love to follow my purpose in a different way.
Building Confidence at Any Size from the ground up has come with its fair share of challenges – balancing life as a mom, mentor, and businesswoman has been no easy feat. I’ve faced all kinds of bumps, from finding my unique voice to managing all the demands of launching programs like DreamHer Camp and expanding my coaching reach. But each struggle has only made me stronger and more grounded in my mission. Every step, whether smooth or bumpy, has taught me something new, and I’m truly grateful for the ride!

Confidence at Any Size is all about creating safe, empowering spaces where people can show up as their truest selves and build confidence from the inside out. I specialize in mentoring and confidence coaching, and I’m known for bringing the kind of energy that fills a room with positivity, encouragement, and real talk. My focus isn’t just on confidence for today – I’m here to help you develop lifelong skills that empower you to create meaningful relationships and succeed beyond your wildest dreams.
What sets Confidence at Any Size apart is our emphasis on connection and authenticity. I pour my heart into every single workshop, mentor training, and camp to make sure it’s an unforgettable experience that genuinely lifts people up. DreamHer Camp is one of my biggest passions, a camp specifically designed to inspire young girls to believe in their limitless potential, and it’s a part of my brand I’m so proud of! Through Confidence at Any Size, I offer a range of coaching experiences, from one-time sessions to a 90-day bi-weekly program, and even a high-level VIP experience for those who want to dive deep.
At the end of the day, I want readers to know that Confidence at Any Size is more than just a business – it’s a movement. My brand is here to make sure that everyone, no matter where they’re starting from, can find the confidence to take up space, dream big, and live life fully.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My parents deserve all the credit for instilling in me the values and skills that ground my work today. They taught me to prioritize a love for God, trust in Him, and to show Christ’s love to others – values I carry into everything I do.
I’m also deeply grateful for the people God has placed in my life to guide me in business. My mentor, Dr. Kristen Guillory, has been an incredible source of wisdom, helping me navigate the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. My team, too, plays a huge role in keeping things running smoothly day-to-day, and their support means the world to me.
And then there’s my best friend, Alysha. She’s been a constant source of encouragement, and her influence led me to discover my true calling in education. Alysha pushed me to pursue my teaching certification and helped me uncover my passion for empowering young girls and guiding educators in building stronger connections with students. Her support has been instrumental in shaping my career into what it is today, and I couldn’t be more thankful.
