Today we’d like to introduce you to Chase Jones
Hi Chase, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started as a minister for my entire adult life and then made a complete career change in one year. So from 2012-2023 I was a pastor in my hometown and now I am in sales for a company.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I see it as a blessing and growth for me.
2011 experienced a traumatic experience as a raft guide where the first customer died on a raft right in front of me. Taught me a lot.
2014 I had a two kids in my ministry pass away from suicide and navigating caring for families and kids. Super tough but also lit a passion to invest in men and help them get help they need.
But I had challenges in my own story of walking out my failure (can add detail) pretty publically and then choosing to stay on staff at my church. When reputation is everything I had to walk the emotional rollercoaster of sharing publically. I didn’t get help I needed and now try to do this in every aspect of my life to help others.
I view my work as an opportunity not just to provide but invest and build meaningful relationships. Not much different than pastoring in my opinion.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am in Sales for G&A Partners. I am a business advisor for small businesses. In the payroll, hr and employee benefits space. I get excited to help owners continue to scale and grow while also providing their employees real benefits that change their lives. P
I am very proud of trying to be the same guy in public and private. I hope to build a legacy with my kids and invest in the people around me. I coach my kids teams, and try to invest back in the community.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I am human. I am not perfect. And at the same time I got to go get what I need to be healthy as a man and to lead my family and at work.
I’ve learned to be emotionally healthy and not just do what others expect or need from me.
