Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Weakly
Hi Natalie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As a kid, I was more focused on climbing trees and plotting my next candy purchase than worrying about how I looked! But my mom had other plans—she enrolled me in every etiquette class she could find, reminding me, “You never know when you’ll dine at the President’s table.” While I wasn’t exactly sold on the idea back then, her lessons about presentation and self-confidence stuck with me.
It wasn’t until after college, in my first client-facing job, that I realized the impact my appearance had on both my confidence and how others perceived me. I began refining my personal style and noticed immediate positive changes. That’s when I saw how a polished image can influence success—something I wanted others to experience too.
After 10 years in corporate America, I launched Signature Style to help individuals and small businesses project their best selves. 12 years and more than 300 clients later, I’ve honed my approach to help business professionals master their personal brand, body language, presentation, and executive presence. My goal is to show others how aligning your inner confidence with your outward appearance creates a powerful personal brand that opens doors.
My background in image consulting, business, training, and personal development has allowed me to work with universities, Fortune 500 companies, and appear in over 30 TV segments. I share practical techniques to help professionals navigate their careers and lives with intention and confidence.
While I enjoy traveling for both work and leisure, I’m proud to call Houston home, where I live with my husband and two not-so-tiny interns. I absolutely love what I do, and I’m committed to helping others look and feel confident every day—whether they’re preparing for a presentation, a meeting with the President, or simply navigating their everyday life.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road to say the least. Smooth road – is there one of those? Please tell me how I missed that in the GPS! With all entrepreneurial endeavors there is an entire set of struggles that transcends all industries – finding your market, getting the traction to your door, customer service, scheduling – all the things. I have experienced those but I would say some of my more unique struggles would be walking people through addressing the skeletons in their closets – both figuratively & at times literally (a story for another time!); processing those with them as well as getting them to move onward from those skeletons.
Skeletons being “I am going to fit into xyz”, “that’s the outfit I wore to divorce court, weddings, etc” , “my mother/husband always said I was ugly in xyz cut” “my husband won’t like that” all the way to “well those are the ashes of my loved one stored in my closet.” True story.
With my speaking clients the challenges are not overloading them with information. I’m always trying to find the right balance of information to help the most people in as little detail as possible but with enough details to equip. While be engaging and interesting!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At Signature Style, I empower business professionals to be people of influence through the mastery of personal brand, presentation, body language, communication, and executive presence.
Combining a diverse background in image consulting, business, training, and personal development, I have appeared in over 30 TV segments and regularly share my expertise with universities and Fortune 500 companies both in Houston and on a national scale.
Guided by the philosophy that our personal image profoundly shapes our influence, I share practical techniques to navigate each day with intention, presence, and confidence.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Oh man what a question! I’ve had and continue to have a huge support system, thank the Lord, that has really cheered me along on my journey. My support has come anywhere from my tiny interns who often encourage me in our solidarity of public speaking jitters to my husband in his support of juggling all of life’s curves, my mother and her timeless tips/reminders and of course my clients.
My clients give me the greatest boost when they tell me & their friends “I never would have bought this or put this together…”, or “I feel so much more confident”, “you elevated ME and taught me along the way”, “your speech gave me the right words to navigate this sticky situation, or “you helped escalate my career to a new level” – all are such encouragement.
I’m an active member of a group of entrepreneurs that has been such a gift in sharpening me and giving fresh ideas & perspective on my business. Of course the team that the Lord has entrusted me with, is incredible at cheering me on and redirecting, as well as pushing me out of my own comfort zone all the while having fun! If you know me that’s a big part of this whole thing – fun!
I get to style people, elevate them and boost confidence and speak to groups, elevating them through soft skills, all so that they can do their thing in this world – what a joy and honor!
