Today we’d like to introduce you to Krista Qualls
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am a NP who worked many hours behind a mask during COVID. Once the mask mandate was lifted, I took a true evaluation of my skin. It was a wreck. I booked a dermatologist and esthetician consultation. I was not impressed with the quality of the products, the bedside manner and the way I felt being processed through a very expensive and busy medical practice. I said I can learn more about the skin and provide my own treatments to help improve my skin. I was trained by PCA skin in Scottsdale, Az and brought my 20 years of nursing experience, bedside manner, my entrepreneur mind set back to the drawing board. KQ Aesthetics was created. I have a private treatment room where I am the NP who owns and operates my own space. I provide a safe, quiet and tranquil space for each client’s self-care time.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This has not been a smooth road. I have a medical background, not a business background, but I have determination that has led me down a path with people who know business and who has helped guide my process.

I am a Nurse Practitioner who owns and operates a private med spa in Keller, Texas. I provide free consultations, neurotoxin injections, PRP microneedling, chemical peels and 2 different types of facials. I have a hydro dermabrasion machine for facials that allows me to deep clean the skin and prepare them for a more advanced treatment like chemical peels and microneedling. I specialize in aging gracefully and helping each patient regenerate the health of their skin. I also provide skin care products as an investment towards their skin health.
