Hi Erick, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Junk Brothers started with a late-night conversation between two Texas brothers, brainstorming ways to turn their drive and ambition into a business. With a pickup truck, a strong work ethic, and a desire to help people clear their clutter, we decided to jump into the junk removal industry.
At first, it was just about taking on small, local jobs, but as word spread about our reliable service and friendly approach, the business began to grow. Today, we’re proud to serve our community, helping people reclaim their spaces while staying true to our values of hard work and customer satisfaction.
Our journey is still unfolding, and we’re excited to see where it takes us next!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road for us. Starting a business from scratch came with its fair share of challenges. In the early days, our biggest obstacle was simply getting the word out. Without access to big advertising platforms, we had to rely on word-of-mouth to build our reputation.
Another challenge was balancing the physical demands of the job with managing the business side—Learning pricing and finances while doing the heavy lifting ourselves. We also faced the unpredictability of scheduling jobs and making sure we always had the right tools and equipment to meet our customers’ needs.
Each of these challenges pushed us to adapt and grow. Through persistence, creativity, and support from our community, we’ve learned to turn obstacles into opportunities. They’ve shaped us into better entrepreneurs and made us even more determined to succeed.

What makes our work so rewarding is the constant growth and learning experience, and the opportunity to work side-by-side with my brother as we build something meaningful together.

One of our proudest accomplishments is establishing strong relationships with our primary customers, particularly realtors.
