Hi Marika & Brandon, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Decorating has always been close to my heart. Growing up in a home where every celebration was made special through thoughtful decorations, I learned the power of making people feel truly celebrated. My parents created very special and intentional moments for every birthday and holiday, ensuring each of us kids felt uniquely cherished in our own way.
That tradition of celebration lives on as Brandon and I create these special moments for our own children. After years of bringing joy to friends and family through our decorating, we felt called to share this gift with others. That’s how Bubble Up Dallas came to life in mid-2024 – a family business born from love and built on the belief that every person deserves to feel extraordinary in their special moments.
We don’t just see events – we see beautiful humans waiting to be celebrated. Whether it’s a milestone birthday, a wedding, or any precious moment in between, we want to come alongside others to make unforgettable experiences for themselves and others.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like any journey worth taking, building Bubble Up Dallas has come with its share of challenges. But we believe in facing each obstacle with grace, determination, and a positive spirit. Growing a business from the ground up takes time and patience, especially when it comes to building trust and reaching new clients. Yet every step of the way has been rewarding – seeing the joy on our clients’ faces and knowing we’ve helped make their special moments even more magical makes it all worthwhile.

Our creative edge with our custom Bubble Balloon Walls has setup apart in such a unique way. We love when customers order the walls, share their theme and give us full creative control to create some spectacular for their special moments. We are proud to be able to offer all ballon decor needs to our amazing clients, seeing the look on their faces after the balloon installation and reading those reviews makes it all worth it a thousand times over. Lastly, we are most proud of the relationships we get to foster with our clients.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
JUST DO IT! You need to get out of your own way and go after what you want. Experience is the best teacher.
