Today we’d like to introduce you to Dominique Sneed
Hi Dominique, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I grew up acting, and that went into theater and background work. In college after constantly hearing about my vocal quality, I started voice acting. After years of minor work, becoming a mom, marrying, and getting my degree, I decided to start applying for small roles again. I was “discovered” by an ANTM alum and walked her runway for LA Fashion Week. Now, here I am, still working still applying still doing whatever is available acting-wise in Dallas!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s definitely not smooth and not for the weak at heart. Rejections are common, but you only need that ONE opportunity to take off.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a flight attendant and have been for 8 years. I meet a lot of people, learn about a lot of cultures, and see a LOT of places.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I love being onstage but I’m not outgoing at all!!
