Today we’d like to introduce you to Coey Jaylene
Hi Coey, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After years of living in Oregon, I packed my bags and headed to Texas, ready for something new. Back in Oregon, my Instagram was more of an afterthought—until one day, it became my outlet for celebrating food and community. When I landed in Dallas, it felt like starting from scratch. Now, my world is filled with great friends, adventurous bites, and a foodie network that mirrors my love for supporting the community.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Life on the move isn’t always glamorous. Changing jobs and traveling for work meant I was constantly juggling priorities. One day I’d be meal-prepping at home, determined to stick to healthy habits, and the next, I’m scanning restaurant menus. In between, there are flight delays, last-minute meetings, and the endless search for balance. But through it all, I’ve learned to adapt—finding joy in new flavors, squeezing in quick workouts, and proving that even the busiest schedules can still make room for growth and adventure.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
In the fast-paced world of sales, I help senior living communities streamline their dining operations with cutting-edge software. My work combines strategy, empathy, and innovation. It’s a career that keeps me on my toes, constantly learning and adapting, while knowing my efforts help create smoother, more connected communities.
