Today we’d like to introduce you to Minh Dinh
Hi Minh , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
While studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design, I developed an interest in Fashion. After graduating with a BFA in Architecture, I seek to explore my passion for Fashion Design and Illustration. I began my career in eveningwear, working under a Dallas-based couture house. Eventually, I went on to become a technical designer and graphic designer for a NYC garment manufacturer.
Since 2023, I have been working as a professional live event artist and calligrapher, working with luxury fashion brands such as PRADA and Alexander McQueen, using my craft to create a bespoke and memorable experience for the client.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not always been smooth, finding the courage to pursue the arts and finding your own aesthetic and niche. However, the results are rewarding. It brings me such satisfaction seeing the joy that my art can bring to others.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Live Event Artist and Calligrapher. I specialize in brand activations for luxury fashion houses, as well as, private bookings (private parties, bridal shower, weddings…). I offer a wide array of services including live fashion sketching of guests at events, calligraphy and engravings, paper art, and customization of products in leather, glass, etc.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
I am so grateful for the clients who believed in me throughout the years, those who see my potential and gave me the opportunity to demonstrate my skills and craft. Also, my family and friends are a tremendous support and inspiration–it is through their motivation that I am able to traverse the hardest moments when starting out.
