Hi Selina, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
After my own wedding, I quickly realized how much I loved the wedding industry and knew I didn’t want to leave it behind. What started as a side business to stay connected to the excitement of weddings soon grew into something far bigger than I’d imagined. I wanted to help couples create memories as special as my own, while also sharing my faith—and I decided to do that through custom event signage!
I was amazed by how many of my own wedding guests commented on the signs I made for our wedding day and how these special touches truly stood out. I learned that the right signage can elevate an event by making a bold statement through the personal details which can transform any event into an unforgettable experience.
At the time, I was working a stable desk job, but I felt unfulfilled—both professionally and spiritually. I was stuck in my comfort zone, too afraid to leave the security I had known for so long. However, as my faith grew, my passion grew, and I felt God calling me to put my full trust in Him and do something more with my life.
With that faith guiding me, I made the decision to leave the corporate world and pursue my passion full-time. I’m excited to help couples bring their visions to life, focusing on the small details that make a big impact, and to continue growing spiritually as I see God’s goodness unfolding in my business each day.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey has certainly not been without its challenges, but I’ve learned to embrace the ups and downs. What has kept me grounded through it all is trusting God in every aspect of my life and business. Surrendering control has given me a profound sense of peace, even amid the most turbulent moments.
I firmly believe that if God brought me to this path, He will see me through it. I trust that He works all things for good, and any obstacle I face is either meant to strengthen me or propel me forward. My faith has been the anchor that has helped me overcome every challenge, knowing that God already has a way for me to navigate through whatever comes my way. God is good, ALL THE TIME!

At Your Sign Awaits, we specialize in creating signage for all types of events. Whether it’s a welcome sign, seating chart, or even a champagne wall, we want to help you create something truly stunning that reflects your unique style. While we’re primarily focused on weddings, we’re excited to branch out and bring our designs to other special occasions like quinceañeras, baby showers, engagement parties, and more. Our passion is turning the small details into big statement pieces that make your event unforgettable!
One of our most popular pieces is our large acrylic duo which includes two large acrylics supported by a box base—serving as both a welcome sign and a seating chart. It is the perfect combination of function and style. Trust us, it is for sure a show stopper and gets the crowd talking!! Our mirror rentals are also a close favorite! The perfect elegant touch that also acts as a fun photo opp moment for all your guests.
This year, we’re also thrilled to take on some exciting custom projects for couples looking for something truly one-of-a-kind. While we offer templates and rental packages for more common requests, we absolutely love bringing custom ideas to life. We are proud and blessed to say that we have been able to fulfill every unique request that has come our way thus far and we’re excited to continue doing so!
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I have to say…. I don’t believe in luck or coincidence, but only God’s plan for me. I believe that God has ordained every step of my journey and guided me to where I am today. Through my faith in Christ and a commitment to hard work, I’ve arrived at this point in my life. Any moment that could possibly be considered a “lucky break” is simply the result of God’s favor and His grace working in my life!
