Perla , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
In 2014, with enthusiasm and a strong work ethic, we decided to embark on our business venture, Tacos La Pasadita. For 9 years, we were located in Watauga, outside a gas station, where we built a loyal customer base that supported us every step of the way.
Thanks to our customers’ trust and our team’s tireless effort, we established ourselves as a popular option for enjoying delicious tacos and Mexican dishes.
However, 2024 brought significant change. The gas station changed ownership, and we decided to take on a new challenge: converting our business into a specialized food truck for events.
With this new chapter, we’re excited to offer our services to a variety of events, from private parties to festivals and fairs. Our commitment to quality and excellent service remains the foundation of our success.
In 2025, we’re coming with a strong work ethic and a desire to continue growing. We’re grateful for our customers’ support and for the opportunity to continue sharing our passion for Mexican cuisine with the community.

Over the years, we’ve faced numerous challenges to remain competitive in a saturated market. However, thanks to our team’s faith and determination, we’ve managed to overcome obstacles and move forward.”

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
“The most important lesson I’ve learned along my journey is that perseverance, hard work, and dedication are essential to achieving success. Additionally, I’ve learned the value of teamwork and the importance of having a strong support system. But most importantly, I’ve come to realize that faith in God is the foundation of everything. He is the one who gives us the strength and guidance to navigate life’s challenges and overcome obstacles. Without Him, none of this would be possible.”
