Today we’d like to introduce you to Roseè
Hi Roseè, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Music has always been a part of me it’s helped me discover who I am in a strange way if that makes sense. All my life I sang but pursued a music career in 2021 all thanks to my good friend James Lavell who invited me to a studio session and once I sang in the booth and recorded my first song I instantly felt this joy that felt like I was doing what I was meant to do. It was me …the mic…the booth…I felt peace and the song turned out so beautiful songs pretty much started flowing out of me ever since!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
This industry is tough! Some days you feel like there’s so much talent out there and think “man, Am I good enough?” It took a long road of building confidence in myself and being okay with being different not wanting to sound like everyone else.
My personal life took a lot of unexpected turns but when your blessed with a gift like mine I sing all my stress away…there’s something so powerful in letting go I can scream,yell,whisper,shout,cry,laugh when I sing
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Outside of being a full time artist I work in Veterinary Medicine! Shout out to ReadiVet one of the best places I’ve ever worked I feel like I’ve found an amazing work home. I love music but one thing that I’ve always had a love for is animals and caring for animals ugh I can’t get enough! I like to call myself an animal whisperer because I have the patience to do what a lot don’t ever want to do..it can be difficult but I feel it’s my calling in a way plus who doesn’t wanna snuggles fur babies and get paid for it. Im really proud of myself for achieving the degrees I have and training my mind to think bigger and better. Growing up in Chicago I was exposed to a lot and but I like to say a woman who is street smart AND book smart is a powerful woman! I don’t let my past dictate the moves I make and the dreams I chase I just let it remind me fuel me
What makes you happy?
Man there’s a lot lol ..my family (not ALL the time) , my other half (even though I have to knock him sometimes lol ) he’s my biggest supporter outside of my momma. Food bring me a lot of happiness, music , self care is another form of happiness I enjoy pampering myself it helps me soothe my mental state
