Check Out Amanda Kayser’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Kayser

Amanda, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I moved back to the DFW area because of the vast opportunities in the medical field and in coaching volleyball. I began my career in the Dallas area working as needed at multiple different hospitals, outpatient clinics and neuro rehabs. I had a colleague introduce the idea of starting up a private practice where we brought services to our clients. It sounded like a great idea, so I opened up my business in early 2018. Within a year, I was full time working for myself, seeing clients and getting to see amazing humans make amazing results! Fast forward to 2023, my schedule was getting full and I saw the need for growth to serve more people. It was time to bring on a second therapist and open a physical location to grow and provide exceptional physical therapy and fitness services to more people. 2025 is here and we are looking to open a clinic and bring on a few more staff members, servicing all demographics, ages and diagnosis. Our speciality is that we get to see our clients 1:1 and have enough time to listen, assess and dive into how we can improve their movement, reduce their pain and enhance their quality of life. We take a holistic and individualized approach to each client and their goals.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Every business has its bumps along the way, but overall I’ve been fortunate enough to grow smoothly. My passion for my clients and their health is my driver, and I believe that good business follows good intentions.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My post graduate specialty training is in neurologic physical therapy. This includes, but not limited to, traumatic and non traumatic spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple sclerosis, and concussion. My graduate school training was heavy in the orthopedic and manual field. My diverse background is what has brought me to what I consider my specialty is now, a holistic view of each person. Everyone has a musculoskeletal system and and a nervous system, and all systems need to be taken into account when we want to see someone improve their movement and/or get out of pain.

I’m most proud of my growth as a physical therapist and a professional. I’ve branched away from the classic model and have found a niche where, not only do I get to spend more time with my clients, but they have the opportunity to continue to work with me all the way through their rehab and afterwards for maintenance. Its a synergistic relationship with my clients, I want them to improve as much as they do.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Relentless pursuit of improvement and growth, in myself and my clients reaching their goals. It can be a mind battle to never be content, but I truly believe that any person can always be a better version of themselves.
