My journey into the spray tanning industry is deeply connected to my husband, who is a professional bodybuilder. Watching him prepare for competitions and seeing how important a flawless, stage-ready tan was to his presentation inspired me to pursue this dream. I realized I could make a real impact in this space by helping athletes like him feel confident and polished on stage.
What started as a passion for perfecting competition spray tan soon expanded into a love for the industry as a whole. I began offering mobile spray tanning services, not only to athletes but also to individuals looking for a natural glow. Over the years, I dedicated myself to learning everything I could about safe tanning practices, including customizing results using the Fitzpatrick scale ( Classifies skin types (I-VI) by UV sensitivity, guiding safe, natural spray tans and skincare.) and tailoring services to meet the unique needs of my clients.
After 7 years in the industry, I’ve rebranded my business as Bronzed Bay Tan, a name that reflects my passion for helping clients shine. I also take pride in providing budget-friendly options for athletes or students in college, ensuring that every client feels valued and confident. Every step of this journey has been guided by my passion for supporting others in looking and feeling their best.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but I’ve embraced the challenges along the way. Being a mobile service has its own set of hurdles, like managing logistics and ensuring consistency in every setting. I’ve also had to navigate the competitive tanning industry, particularly mastering stage tans for athletes. At the same time, I’m constantly evolving within the industry, exploring new technology, techniques, and products to deliver the best results. These challenges have only strengthened my passion and commitment to my clients.

I’m a mobile spray tan artist with a passion for helping people feel confident and glowing in their own skin.
