Absolutely! My journey into wedding planning wasn’t something I originally set out to do, but looking back, every step led me exactly where I was meant to be.
I’ve always had a passion for interior design, event planning, and discovering what’s new and exciting. In my early 20s, I was that friend—the one who threw the best parties and somehow ended up planning or decorating everyone’s events. I naturally became the go-to person for planning, styling, and making sure everything looked picture-perfect.
About ten years ago, I started an engagement and proposal planning business, helping create those big, dreamy proposals you now see everywhere on social media. I knew the demand was there, but at the time, people weren’t actively searching for that service, and I didn’t fully understand the market yet.
Fast forward to my career in the interior design and tradeshow industry, where I honed my skills in logistics, vendor sourcing, and event management. Then, in 2019, while planning my own wedding, my wedding designer and florist asked if I knew anyone with an eye for design who could assist her. My immediate response? Me!
That moment changed everything. I fell in love with weddings, and the experience confirmed what I truly wanted—to be a wedding planner, coordinator and curator. My background in logistics, design, and vendor management made it the perfect fit, and every step of my journey had unknowingly led me here.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all! Building All Walls Events has been a journey full of challenges, lessons, and growth. Like any entrepreneur, I’ve faced my share of obstacles—from navigating the business side of wedding planning to balancing multiple roles as a business owner, planner, wife, and mom.
One of the biggest struggles was starting from scratch. I didn’t just wake up one day with a fully booked wedding calendar. I had to prove myself, build trust, and establish a reputation in an industry where experience and connections matter. It took time, persistence, and a lot of behind-the-scenes hard work to get to where I am today.
Another challenge has been adapting to the unexpected. Weddings are unpredictable—weather changes, vendor mishaps, last-minute timeline adjustments—but my job is to stay calm, find solutions, and make sure my couples never feel that stress. Over time, I’ve learned that flexibility is everything, and no two weddings are ever the same.
Balancing entrepreneurship and family life has also been a challenge. Running a business isn’t a 9-to-5 job—it’s constant, especially in the wedding industry. But I’ve learned to prioritize, set boundaries, and surround myself with a great team and support system.
Despite the challenges, I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything. Every struggle has made me a better planner, a stronger business owner, and more passionate about what I do. Seeing my couples fully present, enjoying their wedding day, makes all the hard work worth it.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Seeing people fully present and celebrating love is what makes me happiest. Weddings are such a whirlwind, and couples often get caught up in the stress of planning. But when I see them relax, soak in the moment, and truly enjoy their day—that’s the most fulfilling feeling in the world.
I love the little moments—the happy tears during a first look, the proud smiles from parents, the way a couple looks at each other during their vows. Knowing that I played a part in creating a seamless, beautiful, and stress-free experience for them brings me so much joy.
Beyond weddings, building something meaningful makes me happy. I’ve worked hard to create a business that reflects my passion for helping others, curating unforgettable experiences, and honoring traditions. Seeing All Walls Events grow and become a trusted name in the wedding industry reminds me why I do what I do.
And of course, my family. My husband and daughters are my greatest inspiration, and everything I do is for them. Being able to show my girls that love comes in all forms and that they can pursue their dreams makes me incredibly happy.
At the end of the day, happiness for me is about connection, love, and making an impact—whether it’s for my family, my couples, or the industry I love so much.
