Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Bagley
Nick, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I moved to Texas in 2019 to pursue a career in personal training with aspirations to be a trainer in the bodybuilding space. After COVID shut downs, I moved from a commercial gym to Destination Dallas where I was more immersed in the bodybuilding industry. I slowly made connections and relationships while building my knowledge as a trainer and now I’m doing what I moved here for full time around some of the best bodybuilders in the world
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Biggest struggle was building a name as trainer in a space where people want to see a large number of transformations before they begin to trust you with their journey to stage. Moving from a commercial gym to completely independent where it was all on my back, with only a few months until my son was born was incredibly stressful, but it pushed me to build something quickly that most struggle for years to accomplish
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I work with anyone willing to work hard that’s trying to make a complete change to their physique. Whether that’s a bodybuilding looking to go pro or your every day mom and pop just looking to get in the best shape of their life. I teach individuals how to understand the data their body is providing them in order to continue pushing progress forward for a long time. I mostly focus on bodybuilders these days, but I work with anyone trying to change their life, improve their diet and lifestyle to improve their physique and health. I have shifted in recent years from mostly in person training to almost exclusively online coaching and have built a system that allows individuals at all experience levels to get better
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
You have to keep pushing forward toward what you want even if it isn’t immediately paying off. Positive effort toward the thing you’re trying to build will eventually pay back exponentially as long as you don’t give up
