Today we’d like to introduce you to Roza Franco
Hi Roza, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Growing up in a family of 10 children in a severely abusive home, I experienced both physical and psychological trauma that shaped my deepest convictions. As a teenager, I moved to the U.S. and eventually made the difficult decision to disconnect from my parents, vowing to break the cycle of pain by doing everything differently. At 18, I became a nanny and quickly realised that caring for children came naturally to me—perhaps because I had spent my own childhood learning what not to do and caring for kids in a way I wish I was cared for. This realisation led me to study and become a certified coach specialising in misbehavior, helping parents reparent themselves so they can build a lasting & meaningful connection with their children. Today, I dedicate my work to giving parents the very thing I longed for as a teenager: the gift of connectedness from toddlerhood to adulthood.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Escaping a physically abusive marriage, I left everything behind—even living out of my car for a while to stay safe before I could gather the means to leave the city. Starting over in a new city meant leaving behind all my friendships and facing years of self-doubt and loneliness but I refused to let my past define me. I threw myself into self-education, worked tirelessly on my healing through therapy, and rebuilt my life from the ground up. Every challenge became a stepping stone to the person I am today—stronger, wiser, and unbreakable.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
As a parenting expert, I specialise in misbehavior such as defiance and aggression helping parents understand what’s behind those behaviors through brain science teaching effective strategy without resorting to conventional methods like punishing, rewarding and other outdated parenting tactics.
My approach is rooted in parenting through the point of view of the child with deep understanding of child development—focusing on fostering a healthy parent/child relationship not just for short term results but also for long term relational connection.
What sets me apart is being able to see whats underneath the misbehavior and address the root of the problem while helping parents teach their kids effective communication and life skills so kids don’t have to resort to misbehavior. After all, misbehavior is just another form of communication. The goal is to help parents feel empowered rather than overwhelmed. My journey of resilience and self-education fuels my passion for supporting families in a way that is both compassionate and transformative.
