Today we’d like to introduce you to Soulful Lady Gang
Hi Soulful Lady, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Soulful Lady Gang was established July 1, 2023, in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Stepping out on faith and wanting to create a team that would nourish the creative soul of women, a few of us ladies talked about organizing a team, discussed the purpose of the team, and finally, we executed. The conversations continued with the development of the team’s name, creating the motto, establishing the team goals, solidifying the true intent of the team, and how to incorporate and keep the enjoyment of dance when it comes to being a Soulful Lady Gang dancer.
This past year, SLG has walked through many doors, danced on many stages and dance floors, made special appearances in videos and live performances, and actively participated in community events. While striving for excellence in dance, SLG sets the standard for sisterhood amongst our dancers and to be a model for women in general.
SLG is a powerhouse dance team with our diverse backgrounds, each lady brings a special touch and elements that make for an explosive performance on any platform. We have a lot of flava’ fueled with passion and energy that we want to share and showcase through dance. Our goal is to see the team’s name, Soulful Lady Gang, on the big stages and billboards, under the bright lights across the world.
As a professional dance team, SLG has an entertainment package tailored to every need and every event. SLG is available for

SLG wants to encourage you to dance like no one is watching, and if they are, tell them they can either join in or keep watching. Either way, keep dancing!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Society has its way of providing a blueprint of what dancers should look like…..this may be the only obstacle or challenge SLG may have encountered and may continue to encounter. The music/dance industry is tough as it is without factoring in age, nationality, and body size. The ladies of SLG are confident, we are bold, and we are resilient. Each member has prior dance experience, a true love for dance, and above all are God-fearing women. Obstacles and challenges are the fuel that keep the ladies of SLG grounded and strong in the mission and goals of the organization.

SLG is a professional dance team that strive for perfection. We specialize in choreographed routines and a uniformed wardrobe. Words cannot express how proud we are for our growth since 2023, the many opportunities of meeting wonderful people, securing business partnerships and growing our brand while performing on stages and during events. Community involvement comes easy as the ladies of SLG have hearts bigger than dance and care about our communities, while being eager to assist when needed. SLG has performed with or created dances to songs by Bill Avery, Sunshine the Singer, Solomon Thompson, Badd Newz, Sharnette Hyter, 2Smooth, Big B Silver, and Stephanie McDee. Podcasts appearances include It’s Cookie Time Live and Dallas On Air. Supporters are able to watch our team production videos on all social media platforms and on our YouTube channel. What sets us apart is: Our uniformity, we are a small group with a BIG impact! And as always, we dress to impress and entertain with no stress!

SLG defines success as
-Personal fulfillment and happiness.
-Reaching a goal or accomplishing a task.
-Attaining wealth, favor, or eminence.
-Achieving positive results.
In summation, success is dreaming what you want in life and attaining it. Failure and setbacks are a given, but you have to choose to continue to pursue what you intended to achieve. The best success comes when you accomplish what you have set out to achieve. Remember to keep trying, never give up, keep those goals in mind and give it your all.
