Life & Work with Allisiana Miche’

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Allisiana Miche’ again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Allisiana , thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
Excited to connect again!

I’m AllisianaMiche’ (pronounced ah-lee-see-ana Mee-Shay). By day, I’m a Property Manager, and by both day and night, I wear many hats as a Musician, Author, Producer, DJ, and the Owner of Leista Publishing & Company, LLC. Based in Austin, Texas, my brand is rooted in empowering self-publishing authors, supporting independent artists, and offering affordable DJ services for unforgettable events.

What sets me apart is the passion I bring to helping others achieve their creative dreams. Since founding Leista Publishing in 2020, I’ve been dedicated to creating opportunities for artists and authors to shine while also giving back to the community through accessible services and resources. My journey started with the success of my debut book Like a Diamond in Black Oil, which inspired me to invest in this vision. Today, I’m proud to say our platform has made the dreams of eight authors a reality, including international ventures, all while curating a safe space for creativity and connection.

Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
Since our last conversation, I’ve been on a three-year hiatus, focusing on a deeply personal journey of self-healing and reflection. During this time, I paused on retaining new authors for Leista Publishing & Company (LPC) and stepped back from releasing any new music or visuals. I faced a series of life events that made me realize I needed to prioritize my well-being before I could pour into others or my art.

However, in this season of pause, an unexpected opportunity found me—I was cast in my first feature film, Beautifully Broken People, which is set to premiere on Amazon in the next few weeks. This experience reignited something within me. It reminded me of my potential and the impact my art has had on others. It was a powerful affirmation that even during times of rest, my purpose remains alive and meaningful.

Now, I’m feeling rejuvenated and more in tune with myself than ever. I’m excited to reconnect with my creative side, not only in music and writing but also in producing visuals and supporting others through LPC. This next chapter feels like a rebirth, and I’m looking forward to sharing my journey and creations with the world once again.
