Today we’d like to introduce you to Austin Hardy
Hi Austin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my photography journey in my hometown of Birmingham, Alabama through one of my fraternity brothers. Being able to observe a professional photographer showed me the basic ropes of photography and since then I have put my head down and ran with it. Since August of 2023 I’ve dedicated a lot of time effort and patience into my craft and before moving to Dallas i was beginning to see the true results. In the city of Birmingham my business profited fairly well and I’ll forever be grateful for those days. It’s nothing like starting something from ground zero. This chapter is called ME vs. Me. I’ve recently moved to Dallas to join a bigger market to put myself out there and see what God has in store for me this year. So far it’s going but anyone who move to a new city and don’t know anyone has to build there clientele up. So I’m up for the challenge.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Accurate booking through a website can be tricky, especially when the platform isn’t seamless or user-friendly. The lack of equipment, especially given how expensive photography gear has become, is also a common struggle for many in the industry. It can feel like a barrier to growth when the tools you need to elevate your work are out of reach. Have you found any strategies to overcome these hurdles, or are you still trying to navigate them?

“I specialize in wedding, studio, and lifestyle photography. These areas are challenging to specialize in because they are highly sought after, making the industry very competitive. I’m most proud of the growth I’ve experienced from building my business from the ground up and seeing its value in making people happy. Although my brand is still new, it is a luxury, high-quality photography brand that I take very seriously.”
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to you concerning my brand seems to be maintaining a high standard of quality and delivering exceptional experiences for your clients. I emphasize that the brand is luxury-focused, which reflects your commitment to excellence in every aspect of my work. It’s also clear that you care about growth, starting from the ground up, and creating a brand that not only stands out in a competitive market but also brings happiness and value to your clients. Also building trust and reputation is equally important to me as well
