

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mason Modad
Hi Mason, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a holistic Zone Healer, I help people in their health through natural means. I focus on non-toxic lifestyle. I knew I wanted to have some type of ecommerce business, but just could never quite figure out what I wanted to do in terms of products. I felt that supplements were everywhere, and largely over-saturated within the health space.
Then I met my beautiful girlfriend who loves skincare, make-up, fashion, etc. When we first met and started dating, she wasn’t fully on board with swapping to more of a non-toxic lifestyle in the beauty and cosmetic area, which was fine. Until she used a mainstream product and had a terrible rash around her eyes pop up that lasted for weeks.
I had been hearing about the benefits of beef tallow for skin health so we bought some off Amazon and played around with some basic formulas. When applying to her rash it cleared up very quickly. We eventually met with a local farmer and bought 10 lbs of suet from him to play around with even more formulas.
We wanted to combine the best of nature’s ingredients. Eventually we landed on what we have now in our 1st two moisturizers. When we sampled out to some of my patients and friends, eczema started to find relief, and even discoloration from past chemo treatments completely cleared up within a matter of a few months. So we knew we had struck gold. I eventually found a manufacturer, gave them our formula and they did an amazing job at replicating our vision.
Now we are in the growing awareness stage, and can be found on Amazon, TikTok Shop and Flip Shop.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not. When doing things for the first time you are going to make mistakes on things you didn’t even know you didn’t know. When doing our first order for labels I ordered 1200 of the wrong ones because I missed that it said “clear” in the mock-up.
I also didn’t realize you couldn’t choose what Amazon would ship your items in, and being in a glass container I wanted a secure box, but they ship our product in a minimally protective plastic bag. I’m very thankful out of the hundreds of items we have shipped, there has been minimal breaks. And it’s something we are fixing in our next batch coming up soon.
When trying to get both scents on TikTok Shop their AI acceptance system would not let us upload our Lavender Scent for 2 months (even though the only difference in both our products is just the scent). On Amazon we have been taken down for a weeks time just when we were starting to see success across TikTok because we were flagged for “compliance” issues in our wording. Apparently only FDA approved items can say things like “anti-inflammatory” or “helps with discoloration”.
And dealing with Amazon and TikTok support is such a pain, hardly anyone can give you a straight answer, and only repeat taglines given for certain situations. So the only thing you can do is wait for the extremely slow compliance team to message you every 24-48 hours with approvals or things to change, then start the whole process over again.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a holistic and all natural tallow-based skincare company. We want to emphasize the power of nature in helping create amazing skin, without the nasty chemicals found in many mainstream products. Chemicals like parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, etc. which are found now to be hormone disruptors and mimic estrogen in the body. Women and men are increasingly having hormonal related issues, and I believe these chemicals that you apply directly on to your skin every day have a huge role in that.
We have started with our tallow moisturizers (currently in 2 scents). But we have plans to expand that into whipped tallow versions, lip balms, deodorants, sunscreens and even make-up more down the line.
When originally doing research on the current tallow products out there, we noticed they were all very “farmy” in their presentation. That is totally fine. But we wanted to bring tallow more to the mainstream, and we wanted to appear a bit more “luxury” in our look. We are bringing nature to the masses again in a luxury and aesthetic way while staying true to our goals of non-toxic and eco-friendly.
We also wanted to be “more than just another tallow balm”. We packed our moisturizer with not just grass-fed tallow, but raw honey, raw beeswax, shea butter, coconut oil, vitamin e oil and jojoba oil for maximum skin nourishment and health.
If you have eczema, psoriasis, acne, dryness, roasacea, discoloration and even cuts or bruises, people have all messaged us thanking us and raving about how our product has helped them greatly by applying our balms to their skin.
That is also what we are most proud about so far. The ability to help people with their skin health quickly and easily and not have to worry about sacrificing the possibility of putting any nasty chemicals within their body at the same time. Mason is also very happy to help those with their confidence, as a teen and young adult, he had terrible acne that really hurt his confidence while growing up.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Mason joined a group called “Million Dollar Brand Club” run by Robert Oliver who originally created “Genius Supplements”. He went on to the sell the company for $30 million and has since started another brand and is making millions/month on Amazon and TikTok Shop. He started this group to help others grow in what he call “the digital gold rush” era and gives you the tools and community to learn and thrive.
We have also hired and received help from a few different companies to help us grow on TikTok Shop and Amazon with creators and ad management, as it can be confusing and frustrating when first learning and also trying to be profitable at the same time.
