Hi Jaiver , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am Venezuelan, I started in the world of baking unexpectedly, I always liked to consume good bread, and this product was of very poor quality in the area where I lived, so one day I decided to enroll in a training that was going to be given to make bread, and it was love at first sight, that was my beginning in this fascinating world of flours that moves my life daily today. Once this training was finished, I decided to open my first bakery that had the same name Pan Pa Vos, that was in November 2017, this bakery concept revolutionized the city where I opened it because my proposal was very fresh, innovative, and with high quality products in its preparation.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a road with many setbacks, from having to leave my first store and leave my country, to not seeing the possibility of ever being in front of an oven again, as well as attempts to steal my brand and many more, but because it is a vocation that does not belong to me, and that by doing it I honor my grandparents who were bakers, I consider that the energy they transferred to me has led me to rise again from the ashes to reemerge in a country that is not mine, but that has welcomed me with open arms and thanks to that kindness today this project is more alive and strong than ever.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
One of my life’s passions is standing in front of an oven and watching the flour turn into a beautiful piece of bread. I enjoy seeing the magic that my eyes see every day, and that behind those creations are my hands. When I came up with the idea of owning a bakery, I wanted to make a strong impact and take care of details that would captivate the people who would come to enjoy my creations, from beautiful packaging to the deliciousness of the product. This gave my brand a boost, allowing me to quickly position myself, creating a wide distinction among my closest competitors.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
To grow, I understood the importance of creating alliances with professionals who, through their knowledge, would allow me to evolve. Therefore, I never hesitated to seek sound guidance that was very useful for my growth. Currently, I continue to trust and believe that, to achieve maximum expansion in your business, creating links with people more capable than you will be essential
