Meet Cameron Thomas of Benchmark

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Thomas.

Hi Cameron, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Born in in Beaumont , Texas a smaller “country” town about a hour half outside of Houston. Went to D1 college for football/baseball but God had other plans than playing sports. Inspiring and educating. I dropped out of college to Pursue business. A teammate introduces me to business & investing and I went all in. Learned from millionaires and from people that were broke. I learned from both. Who I wanted to be and who I didn’t want to be. I went all in on business and it took off , traveling around the world to all the places I’ve always seen on tv and wanted to go to in the US for business. Helped tons of people make money and learn. After about 4 years of traveling to educate on financial literacy and building brands I wanted to find d something stable as a foundation. I was in Houston at the time and ended up getting into box trucks because a friend of mine was making 6 figures doing and and thought I’d give it a shot. Wasn’t really for me at the time and ended up in a spot where I was looking for my next option of building a foundation. I was growing my bond with God , studying everything I could about business and investing while praying for the opportunity to show my talent, skills & knowledge. There then came a opportunity to get into sales. At the time I would consider being at one of the lowest points in my life and had no choice but to take the opportunity. I knew had sales skills , was determined to become a real six figure earner and help other people make six figures. I gave it my all and with in my first month I had made $18000+. Next month same thing and I knew I had found the opportunity for me. Within 2 months I built a team and was leading the whole company in sales and compliance. Within 6 months I had grown the and lead my team to breaking office records. Helped friends and other make the most they ever had in weeks and months , new cars , new houses , new clothes. I helped along with business partners and friends to growing the office to the most people it ever had and most deals ever done. Within a year and 2 months I had worked my way up to getting promoted and announced that I would now be taking the position of regional franchise owner of the company and starting my own office. Currently still a franchise owner of the company I have now made the most money I have ever made and helped friends make the most they had ever made in years. My goal was always to make my family proud , being considered the black sheep of the family. I give all glory and praise to God who has continued yo be by my side through trial and tribulation to continue to grow into the man he wants me to be , & to be able to have a purpose & inspire while helping others know that he is real & with him great things are possible. I feel as if my journey can be a story for many to reflect and find the best in them selves no matter the situation. I am always looking to network and grow with others in all aspects mentally , financially, spiritually. Looking to grow million & billion dollar businesses & relationships with other like minded individuals.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
always going to have bumps in the road and split paths along the road of success & stops of making the right decisions. I was good in sports in high school and thought that would be my way to being successful so after sports I had to do a lot of self reflection. Self awareness and social awareness play key parts to learning what was holding me back and what were my bad habits that was making it harder for me to be successful. I always knew I wanted to be a business man , however coming from a small city and not getting educated in those areas , I had to do a lot of unlearning and relearning. We are programmed from our environment and have to reprogram and learn ourselves to grow into our best versions. Spending time away from family, taking risk , losing money , losing friends , moving to new places. Always having to adapt when things get hard or uncomfortable

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Although I have multiple income streams benchmark is my foundation of business. Benchmark is a sales organization/marketing firm where we specialize in sales & business growth. Being able to not only get the sales training but also being able to learn how to grow organizations & businesses. We help with lower energy bills , rather it be your electric company or wanting to get into solar and owning the energy you use. For homeowners solar can be a great option in reducing cost of electricity and getting more equity in your home rather than these electric companies taking all our money and increasing prices. With solar the money is redirected into your pockets rather than the electric company profiting. Also for renters or those In apartments being able to find a lower rate than what you are currently paying. Outside of benchmark , I help others learn how to trade , & grow their business/ideas. I am most proud of how my company allows any individual to learn sales , and have a chance at making money most people could never make. Also learning how to grow their business , infrastructure, systems and personal development. I have not only been able to position myself for a great life , but also being able to help family and friends. Taking anybody with good sense and driven and showing them how to make what most make in a month in a week or even a day. Looking to produce more and more six figure earners & leaders that want to run million dollar business.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see the whole state being mandatory to get solar just like California . Electricity prices are constantly going up and solar is not only a good option financially but also for the environment and is a more green option for the economy. When done right it can really help change the game & I see the next wave of solar happening now. People realizing there is another option and we are in the future. Old ways are different now and there is technology that is helping and cheaper than old ways now before it does get more expensive. Also for the company expanding into other things besides energy , such as insurance, roofing , or whatever makes sense in helping individuals within the home or general life.
