Hi Kirsten, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
After years of friends and family encouraging me, I finally took the leap of faith and launched my personal styling business, StyleByKir. It all started from a genuine love for helping people feel their best through their wardrobe. I’ve always enjoyed curating outfits, finding that perfect piece, and helping others express themselves confidently through fashion. For a long time, I’d been offering my styling advice to friends and family, but the positive feedback and encouragement I received made me realize that I could turn my passion into something bigger.
With that push, I decided to start my own business and officially launched my website. I offer a range of services, including personal shopping, event styling, closet organization, and even seasonal lookbooks. Each of these services allows me to help clients in different ways, whether it’s finding everyday outfits, preparing for a special event, or organizing their closet to make styling easier.
The journey to where I am today has been both exciting and challenging, but the satisfaction of helping people feel confident in what they wear has been incredibly rewarding. I’m truly excited for what’s ahead and to continue growing StyleByKir into something that inspires others to embrace their personal style!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely wasn’t a smooth road at first. Building a solid client base was difficult in the beginning, and I’m still learning and growing through the process. But that’s also been the fun part! Every client is different, and it’s been exciting to dress them in ways that reflect their unique styles. The variety of people I work with keeps me inspired and challenged, and I’m loving every bit of it!

I specialize in helping people feel confident and authentic in what they wear. My services include personal shopping, event styling, closet organization, and creating seasonal lookbooks. What sets me apart is my ability to work with a variety of clients, each with their own unique style, and curate outfits that truly reflect their personality.
I’m most proud of my clients’ reactions when they see themselves in the outfits I’ve styled for them. It’s incredibly rewarding to see them feel confident and excited in their looks. That transformation—when they realize they look and feel amazing—is what keeps me motivated every day.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something surprising that most people might not know is that I started StyleByKir all on my own! It was definitely a challenge at first, and I had to learn a lot along the way—whether it was building a website, understanding the business side of things, or figuring out how to connect with clients. But that’s also part of what makes it so rewarding. It’s been a journey of growth, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come!
