Hi Gavin , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was shot april 8th 2023 and was in the icu for 2-3weeks and lost my ability to walk as i got better through rehab at baylor i soon came home and enrolled in barber school and graduated in a year but while i was in school i decided to post videos about my life as a wheelchair user living life and going to school i made videos on how i do certain things like get in and out of the car by myself and the videos received over 10 million views
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
While in icu i lost alot of weight because I couldn’t eat anything and my medicine i received in pills i couldn’t swallow and have it stay down so i ended up throwing up every time , my girlfriend left and cheated on me , my body changed and looked different than before so i was insecure as well . Goin to barberschool either really bad nerve pain so i would miss some days as i didn’t wanna leave my house while in pain. The main obstacle was my mind and my willingness to get up and go everyday
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a barber and also content creator and influencer! I review shoes and many different products all from many big name brands like ninja , fashion nova, and threadbest. I also make barber content. I record me doing house calls or using my standing wheelchair to cut hair.

My brothers are all barbers and thats where i got going to barber school from. Also my mom and dad influenced me to keep recording videos and making content
