Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Rogers.
Andrew, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
During my ten years of experience in the social work field, I had the privilege of working with children and teens who had come from backgrounds of trauma and abuse. It was during this phase of my career that I came to the conclusion that the opportunity to walk with children, teens and adults through some of life’s most difficult moments was not only my passion, but my calling. Moving from social work to counseling allowed me the opening to connect with people one on one and walk with them through Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and other forms of mental and emotional issues. Through various opportunities I have had the privilege to work with large companies, small companies, for-profit and non-profit, all of which led me to the notion that that next step was to start my own counseling practice. From all of these experiences I came to the idea of starting Grandview Counseling. With a goal of providing quality counseling services in rural areas of Texas, all at an affordable price for all people, our goal to bring healing and restoration to individuals and couples.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Grandview Counseling has grown far quicker than I ever would have imagined! Of all of the problems to have, this is a very good problem. Nevertheless the rapid growth cause me to see that I could not keep up with the client load coming in which led to the need to hire another therapist to join the practice and provide quality care to our clients. Our current challenge is creating a new space to grow, to bring in new therapists and to fill our new therapists caseload.

Grandview Counseling exists to glorify God by providing a safe and compassionate pathway to experience peace, hope, and restoration. While we work with people of all walks of life we desire to provide Biblical Counseling to those willing to walk with us through that process. We also offer Micro-Current Neurofeedback, a cutting edge treatment which targets brain waves and produces a calmer state of mind by reducing the “fight or flight” response in the individual. With repeated treatments individuals experience less anxiety, better sleep, reduced migraines/headaches, less reactiveness, and improvement in overall mental and emotional health. All of our services are priced as low as possible to make them available to all people.

Ensuring that our clients feel safe, loved, and cared for matters that most. The gospel is built entirely on the message of love and our hope is to share the gospel with all of our clients, regardless of their personal or faith backgrounds, by showing love and compassion in every phone call, email, or session.
