Today we’d like to introduce you to Risha Patel.

Hi Risha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was a stay at home mom for about 10 years, with 2 children living in Richmond VA. I ended finding Romp n’ Roll and building some great friendships there and finding that I was paying only 1 very low monthly membership and getting Music, Art and Gym all under 1 roof. My kids used to beg us to take them to classes and drop them off for kids night outs!
When I moved to Frisco about 6 years ago, there was nothing in my area that delivered that same options and since my children were getting older, I was looking to find my passion with working with kids. My husband started looking into the Franchise and hence, Romp n’ Roll Frisco was born.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not a smooth ride at all. We were the first store to open 4 years after Covid. There were a lot of changes internally with corporate since they were coming up on their 20 year anniversary. They had just completely rebranded, with new marketing, new logos and colors. A great up lift but it also came with challenges in finding the right contractors and designers.

Romp n’ Roll is a kids’ gym that offers a wide variety of fun and educational Gym, Art, and Music classes for children from three months through five years of age.
We also offer Camp, Kid’s Night Out, Special Events, as well as the best birthday parties in town!

We stand out by rotating weekly themes, focusing on new developmental skills, and updating our gym floor plan every week—so there’s always something new for the kids to explore and enjoy!

Rompy, our adorable mascot, has a special way of connecting with the kids – he’s definitely a favorite and a big part of what makes our classes so memorable!

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
As a business owner you have to be present for your employees and your clients. But more of all you have to make sure you make time for your family. Without them there is no motivation for me.
