Hi Mary , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Sor Mary Quintero, and I am the creator of Markadm, an agency specialized in digital marketing and design. From a young age, I always had a passion for design and marketing, but it wasn’t until I began my career as a Systems Engineer that I truly understood the power of a good brand strategy.
Before embarking on my own path, I had the opportunity to work with various oil companies in the AIT department, where I was passionate about working with networks and design. Everything started in 2017 in Ecuador, where I participated in several web development projects in Quito.
During my search for a job that would allow me to do what I was passionate about, I discovered a need: many excellent doctors in Quito were having trouble being found online. That’s when I saw an opportunity to help them by using my knowledge to design cohesive, optimized, and functional websites focused on the patient experience.
That’s how this wonderful venture began. I started going door-to-door looking for clients while training in design and marketing. Soon, I realized that simply having a good website wasn’t enough, and that I needed a comprehensive strategy to ensure the brand was recognized and stood out in an increasingly competitive digital market.
In 2019, MarkAdm was born with the vision of offering something unique: an agency that not only provides marketing services but also designs impactful visual experiences and creates personalized strategies for each client. Our approach helps brands create an optimized digital business model that allows them to retain existing customers and attract new ones. Over time, MarkAdm grew and began serving a wider audience, not just in Ecuador but in other countries as well.
Today, MarkAdm is based in the United States and continues to grow as a leading agency. What sets us apart is not just the quality of our designs or our digital strategies but the personalized attention we offer. We help our clients create optimized and functional systems tailored to their business models, implementing marketing strategies that will help them attract their ideal clients.
MarkAdm not only helps create brands but also offers training, sharing knowledge through courses, resources, and strategic consulting. My mission is to help small and medium-sized businesses take their digital marketing and branding to the next level.
Each project, each client, has been a fundamental part of my personal and professional growth, and I am excited for what’s to come. My purpose remains the same: to help businesses stand out in the digital world and create a positive impact.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road wasn’t easy, but each experience allowed us to perfect our strategy. There were many challenges, from learning how to manage a team to understanding how to grow a brand in an increasingly competitive digital market. However, each step was an opportunity to learn, adapt, and improve. Thanks to the opportunities that arose and the trust my clients placed in me, I have reached where I am today.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Each new project is a challenge for me, but what excites me the most is helping to bring the client’s ideas to life. My specialty is designing business models aligned with the client’s vision. As a web developer, I focus on creating functional, optimized, and brand-consistent websites.
I also design marketing strategies, creating advertising campaigns with sales funnels that generate leads and retain customers through digital strategies implemented in the brand creation process.
In addition, I specialize in creating content that reflects the brand’s personality with communication consistent with its ideal customer.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success for me means seeing those ideas that were once written on paper or born from a conversation become a reality. It’s hearing a client say, “This is exactly what I was looking for.” Watching that business grow over the months and being part of that process and dream is, without a doubt, one of the greatest satisfactions I can experience, both professionally and personally.
