Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna J.
Hi Brianna , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been passionate about content creation and all things beauty-related. Whether it’s makeup, skincare, hair, or fashion, I found that it is something that always brings me joy. When I was younger, about 13 years old, I began watching makeup tutorials, beauty routines, fashion, and lifestyle vlogs, and I always thought to myself, I wish that was me. One of my favorite creators growing up was Ms.Aaliyah Jay, who taught me so much about the beauty community and is the reason I fell in love with makeup. If you know me personally, then you know I have always been shy, and I still am to a certain extent. I’ve let being shy hold me back for way too long. For years, I dreamed about creating content but kept putting it off out of fear – fear of being seen, judged, or just not being good enough. I’ve recently gathered the strength to put myself out there and take content creation more seriously. While I’m still early on my journey, I have already learned so much, and I am eager to keep evolving.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think the biggest struggle along the way was getting out of my own head and realizing that my fear of looking stupid was holding me back. Once I finally got out of my way, things started to become more clear, and the road became less bumpy. I’ve learned that creating content is something I enjoy making. Whether my post gets thirty views or three thousand, as long as I’m having a good time while doing it, is what matters the most to me.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m an emerging content creator in Fort Worth, Texas, focusing on beauty, skincare, and lifestyle while sometimes dipping into the fashion world. I love sharing my routines, affordable/effective skincare and beauty products, and things I do in my everyday life. I think what sets me apart from others at this point in my journey is that I’m authentic, confident, and humble. I may not have it all the way figured out, but that’s okay. I am learning as I go and sharing my experience along the way. I dislike it when people are not social on social media, so I think that taking the time to respond to comments and DMs while consistently engaging and interacting with others is something that builds a genuine community early on.
How do you think about luck?
Luck hasn’t played a huge part, but I believe that if I stay consistent, people would think it was luck – when in reality, it was hard work and dedication.
