Rising Stars: Meet Aarti Pasupathy of Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aarti Pasupathy.

Hi aarti, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My content creation journey began from a very personal place. As a mom of three, I became increasingly aware of how the foods we were consuming were impacting my children—especially my son, who was dealing with food sensitivities. I started doing deep research into food labels and was shocked by how many products marketed as ‘healthy’ contained synthetic ingredients that could be harmful, especially to sensitive kids. What began as a personal mission to clean up my family’s pantry evolved into a genuine passion for education and advocacy. I started sharing what I was learning on social media—not just the ‘what,’ but the ‘why’ behind avoiding certain ingredients. My goal has always been to make clean living approachable and to empower others to make informed choices without fear or overwhelm.
Over time, this message resonated, and I’ve been fortunate to grow a community of like-minded individuals who care about what they’re putting into their bodies. Today, my platform focuses on clean ingredients in both food, kitchen items, along with beauty products, and I’m excited to continue using it to advocate for transparency, wellness, and better options for families everywhere.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—and honestly, I didn’t expect it to be. One of the biggest challenges early on was simply finding healthier alternatives. When I started this journey about five years ago, there were very few clean-label options available, especially from mainstream food brands. I’ve always believed in offering solutions—not just pointing out problems—so I made it a point to share healthier swaps whenever I called out a concerning ingredient. But that was difficult when the market wasn’t offering much.

Another challenge has been pushing back against the dominance of big food companies. Many of them rely on synthetic additives because they’re cheaper and more profitable, not because they serve the consumer’s health. Educating people about the risks of ultra-processed foods and synthetic ingredients has sometimes led to pushback or criticism, especially from those who may not be ready to change or who feel defensive. Navigating those conversations with empathy while staying true to my mission has been one of the more complex aspects of this work. But ultimately, the challenges have only strengthened my purpose and commitment to making clean, accessible choices more mainstream.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My work centers around educating and empowering others to make informed choices about what they’re putting into their bodies—whether it’s through food, snacks, or beauty products. I create content that breaks down complex ingredient labels and highlights clean, accessible alternatives that families can actually use. I specialize in identifying harmful synthetic additives, spotlighting hidden ingredients, and offering practical, healthier swaps that don’t sacrifice convenience or taste.

I’m probably best known for my no-nonsense, research-driven approach to clean living, along with my consistent focus on transparency. What I’m most proud of is building a platform that’s helped thousands of families feel more confident navigating grocery store aisles and product labels. I’ve heard from so many people who say my content has directly influenced them to rethink their purchases and prioritize their health in a more empowered way.

What sets me apart is that I lead from lived experience. I’m not just reading labels—I’m living it, as a mom who’s had to do the hard work of finding better options for my own kids. My content is grounded in that real-life perspective, which I think makes it more relatable, actionable, and trustworthy.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is integrity—both in how I live and in the information I share. In a world where marketing often overshadows truth, especially in the food and beauty industries, I believe it’s critical to be honest, transparent, and grounded in facts. I’m committed to helping people make better choices for themselves and their families, and that starts with being a trustworthy voice.

This matters deeply to me because I’ve seen firsthand how misleading labels and synthetic ingredients can impact health—especially in children with sensitivities. My mission is personal, and that’s what drives me to do the work with consistency and authenticity. At the end of the day, if I can help even one family feel more empowered and informed, then I know I’ve stayed true to what really matters.
