Today we’d like to introduce you to Lesslie Caro.
Hi Lesslie , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi! I’m Lesslie. A few years ago, I packed my life in Mexico into just two suitcases and pursued my dreams in the U.S., seeking adventure and a fresh start. While in the U.S., I launched my blog, MrCaro, with the mission to inspire women to live life to the fullest, travel often, and express themselves unapologetically.
Last year, I realized another dream by creating The Allure Society—a series of cozy gatherings designed to bring people together and foster meaningful connections through intimate experiences.
The ultimate goal is to curate a directory where you can discover and connect with top creative talents across various fields, including art, food, style, interiors, travel, and wellness.
Whether you provide these services or want to participate in our next event, we aim to be your matchmaker and support you.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has been an incredible adventure. Leaving Mexico meant I had to start fresh in a new country and dive into a whole new culture. There were definitely some tough times filled with uncertainty and self-doubt, and I often wondered if everything would work out.
Yet, every challenge has shaped the person I am today. I’m proud to say that The Allure Society is just getting started. What began as a dream is evolving into a vibrant space for connection, creativity, and community—and this is just the beginning!
As you know, we’re big fans of The Allure Society. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
The Allure Society was born out of the necessity of creating meaningful connections in Dallas, where creativity and community can flourish. Through a series of intimate gatherings and our upcoming website, we are building a curated directory that connects you with top talent in art, food, style, interiors, travel, and wellness.
What sets us apart is the atmosphere—we create warm, welcoming environments where strangers become friends over thoughtful conversation, beautiful experiences, and shared inspiration. One of our proudest moments so far was the pre-launch figure drawing event, where guests had the opportunity to unleash their creativity as a stunning live model brought each pose to life. While sketching, attendees savored fine wine and enjoyed delightful aperitifs, making it a truly memorable experience.
This is just the beginning, and we’d love for you to be part of it. Follow us on Instagram @TheAllureSociety and sign up for our newsletter to get early access to our waitlist and be the first to hear about upcoming events!
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about Dallas is the amazing sense of community here! Seeing people come together and make wonderful things happen is so uplifting. There’s always a great vibe of growth in the air. I’ve been lucky to call this place home for ten years, and there’s never a dull moment—you can always find a new restaurant or bar popping up, waiting to be explored.
One thing I wish we had more of in the city is art events. It can feel a bit quiet on that front sometimes! That’s why The Allure Society was born—to spark creativity and bring people together.
