Today we’d like to introduce you to Jade Young.
Hi Jade, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I come from a long line of creatives, and in many ways, this path was written into who I am. My grandmother has always inspired me with her gift for sewing and design. She makes her own clothing, handbags, and accessories, and there’s such intention behind every piece she creates. My mom was also a model back in her day and carried this effortless sense of style and creativity. Watching her made me curious about the world of fashion and storytelling through imagery. Eventually, I followed in her footsteps and had the opportunity to walk in shows for New York Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week. One of the most surreal moments was being featured in Vogue Italia, and that was actually from my very first professional photoshoot with an amazing photographer based in Kansas City.
But my love for creating goes way back, even to childhood. I remember being given this old tape recorder, and every day I’d bring it to school to document life from my perspective, talking to friends, capturing little moments, and just being a kid. That early curiosity grew into a love for content creation. I eventually started a YouTube channel where I share my travels and day-to-day life, and it kind of came full circle.
Now, I get to run my own business creating engaging content for brands I genuinely love, everything from beauty and wellness to lifestyle and local businesses. What started as just me having fun with a camera has grown into something purposeful and fulfilling. And I feel like I’m still evolving, still learning, and still creating with the same heart I had when I was a little girl pressing record.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Relocating to new cities without a strong support system was tough. I often felt alone while trying to build something from the ground up. Burnout has been a real challenge too. When you love what you do, it’s easy to overwork, especially when you’re wearing all the hats in your business. In the early days, I also lacked support from people who didn’t fully understand my vision or the value of creative work. But those challenges taught me how to trust myself, set boundaries, and keep going even when the path wasn’t clear. I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a content creator, model, and digital entrepreneur specializing in UGC (user-generated content), lifestyle storytelling, and creative direction. I partner with brands to produce high-quality, relatable content that feels natural but remains strategic, whether it’s beauty, wellness, fashion, or travel. I’m known for creating visually engaging content that blends everyday authenticity with aesthetic appeal.
What sets me apart is that I approach content as both an art and a business. I bring my experience as a model and creative into every project, but I also understand marketing, branding, and how to connect with an audience on a deeper level. I believe my storytelling background and eye for detail come from growing up in a creative family. Those roots show up in everything I do.
One thing I’m truly proud of is turning my passion into a business where I help brands shine while staying true to my voice. From walking in New York Fashion Week to being featured in Vogue Italia, and now creating content for both national and local businesses, it’s been a journey of growth, reinvention, and full circle moments.
What’s next?
Looking ahead, I’m focused on expanding my creative business and diving deeper into digital entrepreneurship. I want to continue building authentic partnerships with brands I believe in while also growing my own platforms, whether that’s through blogging, affiliate marketing, or launching new digital products that help women find financial freedom.
I’m also excited to explore more real estate investments, which is a newer passion of mine and part of my plan to create long-term financial stability. On a personal level, I want to keep evolving creatively, trying new types of content, telling different stories, and collaborating with inspiring people.
Big changes are definitely on the horizon, but I’m embracing the journey with an open mind and a lot of excitement. My goal is to keep growing both personally and professionally while staying true to the authentic, creative spirit that has brought me this far.
