We recently had the chance to connect with Brittany Rodriguez and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning Brittany , we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is a normal day like for you right now?
I start my mornings with coffee, a Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Perfect Bar, and quiet time on the porch where I journal what I’m grateful for, what I’m believing God for, and what I’m asking Him to help with. Then I get ready, kiss the kids if they’re up (summer means sleeping in!), and head to a client’s home.
On the drive, I listen to podcasts—right now I’m really into nervous system work and polyvagal theory. At the client site, I check in with the team, deliver product, talk with the client, and note any updates or requests. Afterward, I usually work from a coffee shop or my car, answering emails and handling backend tasks.
Back home, I either take the kids to the pool or let them play with friends while I finish up sales calls. We eat dinner together—my husband is an amazing cook—and end the day watching Ryan Trahan’s “50 States in 50 Days” series on YouTube. It’s our little nightly tradition before winding down for the next day.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Brittany Rodriguez—mom to 5 and founder of B. Beautifully Organized, a luxury home organizing company based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We help busy families and professionals create calm, functional, and beautiful spaces that truly support their lifestyle. Whether it’s a full-home organizing project or a concierge-style move, we bring order, intention, and aesthetic to every detail.
What makes our brand unique is the personal touch we bring to each job—we blend high-end systems with real-life functionality, and our team genuinely cares about the homes and hearts we’re serving. I started this business after years of organizing and editing my own home. When my brother-in-law passed away, I wanted to support his wife and their three young children in any way I could. I helped organize their home, gently go through his belongings, set aside the most meaningful items for safekeeping, and create systems to support their new life.
That experience opened my eyes to how deeply organizing could serve people—not just practically, but emotionally. I wondered if others might need this kind of help too—support that’s both practical and deeply compassionate. I made one Facebook post offering my services, and B. Beautifully Organized was born.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
My mom. She was a single mother who, at one point, worked three jobs to take care of us before going to nursing school. She always showed up—no matter how tired she was—and did what needed to be done, even when she didn’t feel like it. After becoming a nurse, she found her passion caring for patients in a nursing home. She truly loved helping people, and while I didn’t fully realize it at the time, she was shaping my work ethic and my desire to find meaningful work that I could pour my heart into.
She passed away three years ago, but the example she set still guides me every single day.
When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
When I was little and felt scared, my mom would start with a Bible verse: “When I am afraid…” and I would finish it by saying, “I will trust in the Lord.” (Psalm 56:3)
Those words became a quiet rhythm between us—something steady I could always count on. Years later, when she was on hospice and I was caring for her, I found myself clinging to that same verse. It reminded me of the safety I always felt with her and helped carry me through some of the hardest weeks of my life.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Whose ideas do you rely on most that aren’t your own?
My husband! He has so much wisdom and discernment, and he’s incredibly creative. I run just about every idea that pops into my head by him. He always offers thoughtful advice and brings fresh perspectives and ideas I would have never considered on my own.
It’s a gift to be in business with your husband and best friend—especially when you’ve got a great one like I do.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Are you tap dancing to work? Have you been that level of excited at any point in your career? If so, please tell us about those days.
Oh my gosh—yes! I get so excited about fun and unique projects. Right now, we’re working with a client who just finished renovating her home with the most vibrant, joyful colors. We’re unpacking, organizing, and shelf-lining everything—from a hot pink pantry and coral kitchen to pink confetti wallpaper and three shades of teal in the bedroom. We’ve lovingly dubbed it The Barbie Dreamhouse Project.
We absolutely love working in beautiful, bold spaces like this. The energy is contagious—our whole team gets giddy with excitement. It’s not unusual to see us clapping, jumping up and down, or just standing in awe of how pretty and satisfying the finished result is. It’s moments like these that make me feel so lucky to do what I do.
