Hi Kimothy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey began in high school when my mother encouraged me to take cosmetology. At first, I wasn’t sure if it was the right path for me, but it quickly became one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I discovered a true passion for being a hairstylist and aesthetician, and along the way, I even met my best friend in cosmetology school—someone I now have the joy of working beside every day.
Being a hairstylist is so much more than creating beautiful hair—it’s about building connections. I believe in truly listening to my clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and doing my very best to help them achieve their goals.
My mission is to provide not only quality service, but also a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every client. I value the time I get to spend with each person who sits in my chair, and I strive to make them feel appreciated, confident, and cared for.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Finding balance between family and work life can be challenging, when both demand your time and energy. It often means setting clear boundaries. Learning to say no, and being fully present in each role.While work provides for the family. It’s the moments spent together that truly builds connections.Striking that balance isn’t about perfection-it’s about making intentional choices each day.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Over the course of my career one of the most valuable lessons I have learned is the power of consistency and effective time management. Success hasn’t come from sudden breakthroughs but from showing up everyday staying organized and making steady progress toward my goals. I’ve learned that discipline often outweighs motivation and managing my time wisely has allowed me to stay focused and continually grow both professionally and personally.
